    I never heard about candles in mirrors opening negaive portals. My spiritual path involves working with mirrors and candles, and,I've yet to have a problem.

    When my grandma’s brother was young in Mexico, they went to wash clothes in a lake and his mom noticed he was throwing rocks at something. She asked what he was doing and he said that the little people with red hats were trying to take him so he wanted to scare them off. Apparently there was nothing there and they assumed it was gnomes trying to get to him.
