Mina and Karen buy a property in one of the most coveted and popular neighborhoods in Indianapolis. The incredible price only means more challenges as they quickly uncover some buried surprises that put the build on hold. When construction can continue, this four-bedroom home with an open floor plan and a bonus living space on the second floor will turn out to be their sweetest home yet… if they can get past the fire code violations. With a bohemian-meets-modern vibe, Mina and Karen hope to attract a certain cute young couple that they hope will call it home.

Unstoppable mother-daughter duo Karen E Laine and Mina Starsiak transform rundown houses into stunning urban remodels in Indianapolis. See this dynamic team in action as they revitalize their hometown one property at a time.

  1. I can't believe they can build so close to that other house. I would not be happy if I were the owners of that other house.

  2. OK, help me out here. They installed a 13K sprinkler system throughout so the the back room could be a bedroom. Is it a bedroom? Is there a closet?

  3. Fire rating means windows remain inoperable???
    Sounds legit.🙄🙄🙄

  4. If I were one of those neighbors, I would have bought the lot just to have some space. I don't care what I would have had to do to get it.

However, it is a super charming house. I love the deck on the side and the loft area.

  5. Hmmm……instead of asking for ‘permission’ they would ask for ‘forgiveness’…….they are so lucky it worked out for them.

  6. It looks like a combination of two people moving in together for the first time on a flea market designer budget. Eclectic!

  7. Why is this show existing? The baby maker needs to go away. She is nothing but a disgusting bowl of goo. Her mother should have her own show but get rid of the nasty daughter.
