These DIY plant pots are a great way to get your hands in some dirt and planting your own food. The biggest expense will be your soil, and when it comes to needing to feed that soil for the next growing season you may be able to get free compost from your local municipality. Which Walmart store is selling the buckets for $1 ?? I can only find them for $5-$10.
