  1. another good video! Good day my friend and happy Friday ☀️🌞 to you! big hugs and support your channel! Thanks for sharing !!! Have a great weeken too Like #9

  2. It’s a rainy cold day in today, I’m gonna get my stuff out and do one of these for my room☕️ 🎨 🌧 ❤

  3. Even when distracted you manage to produce a feast for the eyes ! This reminds of the recently released Coronation invitation . As the saying goes…Great minds think alike !

  4. I understand Kuretake is changing the binder which is good as long as it doesn't impact the color vibrancy as so many watercolors have a strong tendency toward fading. I believe and I am probably a watercolor "heretic" that watercolors don't have to looked washed out to be watercolor. Although self taught, much training since the late 80s and after, it could be my roots as I originally started in oils, went to acrylics then moved to watercolors which is where I am most content. Rather wordy way of saying I love color.

  5. I love this video, full of lovely spring vibes! I will paint it tomorrow. I appreciate that you show us that we don't always have to paint on watercour paper. 💕 Happy Easter Friday and Easter weekend!

  6. I always enjoy your conversations and the sounds of the farm in the background. Such a relaxing painting today. Happy weekend!!🐦

  7. Diane, this is just what I needed today! I've been struggling drawing and painting butterflies, dragonflies, and bees and I'm super hard on myself. I'm working on NOT being a perfectionist because it really isn't an attainable thing anyway. It's so therapeutic to watch you layer your watercolors and add the delicate little details. Although I try to paint every day, I don't always get to it. One thing I do try to do every day is to watch your new (and old) tutorials. They definitely bring me comfort and joy. For the past few years, you've become a part of my daily routine, a healthy part of it and looking at your subscriber numbers, I know I'm not alone. Thank you!

  8. Lovely, so makes me want spring to arrive here, it's trying but still rainy and cold. Thank you for sharing this very colorful painting.

  9. I just ordered the art nouveau set. I can’t wait to play with it. It’s supposed to be here tomorrow! I love your quick and easy ideas. Thanks 😊

  10. …..yes, my friend, I do know what you mean! I was just given 3 lavender plants. I now have dirt in my kitchen sink and counter! Rushing to clean up so I can play with paint. I just sat at my table and looked at the sheet of paper wondering if my lavender would survive my repotting!🤪. And THEN I looked to see what Diane had for me! Yay! Here you are making my day! Cheers!XOXO❤️
    Also, we love your “rubbish”!

  11. This was so simple to achieve Diane and very relaxing with such a beautiful outcome. I love your relaxed mantra to painting just how it should be. Thankyou for always being an inspiration. I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend. 💐🐓🐈🐏🐇

  12. The dragonflies that you paint are one of my favorite things. I’m so much like your daughter when it comes to trying to be perfect. I have learned so much from you about just letting go.

  13. Diane, As always, I loved this video! You painted so many things that I want to know how to paint. You're so relaxed and I love your anti perfectist attitude. It's an attitude I try to attain every day. There is a really good documetary on YouTube called THE Women Artists of Monhegan Island. I thought you might like to try it for something relaxing to listen to.

  14. Diane, may I ask how and where you store those papers that you paint and not part of a journal? Especially the light papers that are not watercolour.

  15. Do you have a tutorial that shows how to make your paint "watery"? Everything I paint ends up looking like I used acrylics instead of watercolor. 😔
