    Oh my gosh I saw a snake yesterday, he scared me and I scared it 😱 I hate snakes! I figured I had at least until May before I had to start worrying about seeing them. 🌷💚🙃

    I can’t believe how much of the garden popped almost overnight! Three warm days and everything is going crazy! 78 for a high today with no breeze, I don’t know how long I’ll be able to stay out there. Tomorrow back in the 50’s possibly snow mixed with rain on Sunday evening and Monday. 🌷💚🙃

    I splurged one year and bought a rose standard, I babied that beautiful rose and I loved it. I didn’t protect it come winter and the dang rabbits griddle my beautiful rose standard . I now try and protect everything that is extra special to me. One winter the dang rabbits girdled some of our dwarf apple trees, while rabbits are cute and all I absolutely DON’T like them! 🌷💚🙃 And please excuse me for saying this but if I had a pellet gun I would be taking aim at them, we have generations of rabbits living on our country property. And I really mean generations. 🌷💚🙃

    Good call on the Photinias.
    They do much better in 7b+, but even then a wet snow will bend the slender branches over every which way.
