Front Yard Garden

How I bring out my inner child and more home and garden projects completed and beginning

I’m back to working on projects around the home and and planning a few others, but in between I decided to treat myself to a little Butterfly Pea Flower Tea, because it’s blue, fun to drink, and my inner child enjoyed making it. .

I bought myself a parasol video

  3. I love painting. I’m glad to see you have painting clothes too. I’m never without drips or paint on my project clothing. I have loved the color of your kitchen cabinets and it’s inspired me to to hire having my cabinets repainted. And thanks for the gardening tip on trimming hydrangeas. I’ve a new hedge and the dried tops are hanging all over so I’ll be trimming them this week too. Wasn’t sure if I should but for watching you.

  4. Thank you for another lovely video. As a lover of lilacs I hope yours rejuvenate and give you many more years of beauty. I am almost near the completion of our kitchen reno. I’ve done the same thing putting a table where I may want a small island. I’m unsure whether I like walking around it, I kind of like the idea of an open feeling but it’s nice to have something just to put a few grocery bags on when you first come in. I have my eye on an old oval marble topped table with wheels . I think you will find a perfect table for your kitchen, I like the size and scale of the one you have now. Maybe in an old light worn pine table ? Happy Easter ! So glad your garden is beginning to wake up.

  5. The butterfly pea flower is so pretty. I would drink it just to enjoy the lovely color. The cartoon of yourself on your Amazon Store is adorable!!

  6. Enjoyed your recent video this morning relaxing with my pumpkin coffee ! So happy to see you out in your garden . I have a lilac and it’s beautiful every spring, hope yours turns out beautiful as well, enjoy your yard , going to reach 70 this week! 👩‍🌾

  7. Thank you for the update. Everything is amazing. I link the island in the kitchen but agree that you and your husband need to see if you like having to work and walk around the island or enjoy the open room. Also, if you know the name of the large planters, I would like a link if possible. Thank you!

  8. I like the idea of an island, I'd have to see if it got in the way of going to/from the stove, or maybe it would be a help? The idea of something on wheels is intriguing. And, I agree with some of the comments about the darker paint color, but love how your home is coming along. Just beautiful, Linda!

  9. I think a butlers table would look great in Your kitchen. I hit mine at Crate and Barrel and I love it!!!! It's black iron with marble top!

  10. I have a very similar sideboard in my little kitchen in my rented home! I thrifted it. It has the same coloring and drawers but has a shelf in the bottom as well. I sprayed several coats of Helmsman protective waterproofing spray on it and it works perfectly as a small island for us.

  11. Hi Linda hope you had a blessed Easter. Spring is here! I know you are happy to get started on your flowers 💐 and plants. Enjoy watching you have a blessed day God bless you and family . Ps Love your kitchen🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻

  12. Linda, try hanging some sort of colorful ribbon or flag on your camera stands to make it more difficult to loose them. You could even paint them with a bright color.

  13. Linda: You are such a hard worker and you do it all…..inside and outside. No, I would never laugh at you falling. I have been there and it is never funny and even if it is a soft fall, unfortunately, sometimes I am sore the next day. I am older than you! Finding a treasure in the ground would be a great surprise! Also, I just adore both journals and the one you created is beautiful…..your talent is never ending!

  14. I would so appreciate if you would do a tutorial on picking paint colors sometime!

  15. I have 3 poodles I’m going to enjoy seeing your poodle helping u clean your yard up I’m from east Texas great watching you

  16. Linda, you amaze me that you can paint a door without taping the window area. I like the door color.

  17. I love your videos! So calming, relaxing! You are an incredible decorator, with attention to detail! I used to collect County Living, Country Home, Colonial Magazine, Early American Life, Victoria, magazines from the early 80's till early 2000's, my obsession with those magazines and the huge collection of them, lead me to huge cleanout, good will and library donations and simplifying my life when we made a big move across our state. Your style reminds me of a combination of all I saw in those magazines, so I don't need them anymore, I just watch your channel!

  18. I love those planters you picked up. Love all that you are doing, you are such an inspiration! Hope you and the family had a blessed Easter. Xo ❤

  19. i love your videos!!! your use of color is so inspirational! i find myself wanting to use some in my century old farmhouse. thank you! hope you had a grand Easter!

  20. You remind me so much of myself going from cutting down bushes (gotta love a woman with a chainsaw! 😆) to having a cup of tea, to painting a door! Love your channel! Happy Springtime to you! 🌺🌸🌼🌻

  21. How I wish I had found you sooner…you're channel is everything I've been looking for…we have a sweet old victorian on the Hudson river in upstate NY (Hudson Valley) we have been restoring in the new england style(my apsolute favorite style)..and have been vacationing at least twice a year for over 25 years in Gloucester which I'm sure you're very familiar with…apsolutely love watching your channel…and I too would love to see more and more videos 😂😂😂

  22. Very smart putting a temporary island just to see how it feels. I say it looks great having something there, but it depends on how it feels in the space. I will remember this tip for my kitchen reno.

  23. That's how I am with my clippers! I must have lost them a dozen times today! 😄 So much fun to be outside finally working in the gardens!

  24. Linda everything is coming together so well, I look forward to each new video. I love the sofa table turned worktable idea. Have you thought of adding a marble top to it? Keep those videos coming, please.

  25. lHi Linda, I love that you’re considering putting an additional table/island in your kitchen. I think it really does “zhuzh-up” the look and take your kitchen to another level. Personally, I would keep the island you decide on at this length (instead of going shorter). Shorter kitchen islands always seem to look stubby to me. Either way, your decor taste is great so whatever you decide on, Im sure will look fine. Just adding my 2 pennies, hehe 😉

  26. Wow, I can't wait either for your metal detecting. Love everything you are doing inside so far and I do like the idea of a table on wheels in the kitchen especially since you can move it if necessary.

  27. Linda Dorough Dixon/Mountain Park Georgia/Why put a brick walkway in the front of the home… A walkway to the street would be nice ..just use those bricks around the flagstone. Brick the area where the walkway will be at the flagstone patio…Is that clear.. You would then have a stately clean look at the patio…

I guess the glasses didnt make the trip.. They are in a medium box so maybe it didn't fit in your POBox? Someone took the box…? Postal Service ??? I truly am sorry… They would be perfect in your home….
