  1. I really liked this painting – my fav colors. Just the new Kuratake set and the 365 days of painting nature book you recommended and so very fun! I love your farm
and talking about everything- wish you lived next door – WA state

  2. Hi Diane: have you experimented with the kuretake paints and sprinkling them with salt? I don’t have any of them to try myself, but I am curious. I have a nice set of metallic paints by Mozart komorebi. 6 of the large pans…rose gold, gold, antique gold, silver, copper and bronze. They are very affordable and quite nice.

  3. Firstly…Happy Easter to you two wonderful ladies! ❤️
Secondly….oh my goodness! You just get batter and better! What an adorably charming lesson! Love it!
Last but not least is that I am awaiting the arrival of my Art Nouveau K paint set! Can’t wait! Thank you my friend for putting. Colors, inspiration and joy in our day! ❤️XOXO
Almost forgot to tell you! There is a swallow nest in the corner of my front porch. I always have 3 or 4 families each year. They make a mess of my front door…which is ok with me. Anyway they are back early here too! Arrived this week, I get quite a scolding each time I go out or come in!
    I love it so much.

  4. Happy Easter and thanks for all your tutorials, it's stuff I can actually make a good attempt at doing which is great for confidence. Live to listen to you talking, and a live event sounds really interesting. Fingers crossed that I will be able to listen in live!

  5. Blessed Easter Diane. God bless you and Tamsin for the work you do for us…we absolutely appreciate it! And God bless Emma and Ellen for inspiring you. Every tutor on YouTube has something to teach us, some new inspiration for us.

  6. Blessed Easter, Diane! Lovely painting! I shall look forward to the ‘live’! Congratulations on your success with your channel!

  7. These are such beautiful, uplifting colours, Diane! Many thanks for such a calming and relaxed tutorial!

  8. Lovely painting, how you picked your background colours was very interesting. Um shorts I’m sorry but I’ve blocked these, we’re filling up my feed, one person I follow can sometimes put out six shorts a day, am thinking of unfollowing as these are annoying. Guess I’m the 10% who don’t like shorts. Happy Easter to you, yep could hear the birds in the background, aww wolves kind of fascinating and scary at the same time.

  9. Diane, I hope you are doing well. I think I can attempt to paint again. I have learned my limits which isn't much, but it is something. I can see there are lots of videos to help me revive my love of watercolor! As always, thank you for all you do.

  10. Hope your Easter was enjoyable as the sun seems to have graced you with some nice weather! Love this fish painting and will use it for a special card for a friend!

  11. I can't wait to do this painting even though I dont have the nouveau set but I do have the other

  12. I live by the sea and love watching all the narrowboat vlogs on You Tube so I guess water is in my blood, talking about narrowboats my new favourite narrowboater is 'The Narrowboat Pirate ' she is a lady who is quite naughty, drinks rum, and has Rosie and Jim ( remember them ) as companions on her boat, if I can't sleep I watch Heidi and her adventures and giggle along with her. Lovely painting Diane I might put these Japanese paints on my birthday list which I always loose a week before my birthday, but I can always ask for money.Thank you sorry to rabbit on ☺

  13. Diane, the colors on this painting are so deep and pretty. The gold touches are a great idea and I especially love the sweet little gold lips on the fish. Nice to hear you mention Emma Lefebvre, Harriet from de Winton Paper Co., and Paul Clark. They are brilliant artists, and each have their own unique style which of course is what it's all about. When you watch Paul Clark, you're bound to have a chuckle, as he has great humor. As for your channel, you get it all….an art lesson, stories, humor, therapy, and in the end, a lovely piece of art 🙂

  14. Live that will be fantastic. Also, you are at the same time more or else with us so I can watch you live.

  15. Diane do you use distilled water in your spray bottle? Is that important to not have mold or anything 'grow' on you paints?? Lovely fish painting… I hope to attempt this for a friend.. 🙂 Hugs! deb

  16. What weight is your watercolour paper please? Looks nice so far I am enjoying your tuition thankyou
