On today’s Real Life Friday Video, we are going on a field trip to my local rockery! We are going to look for rock, stone slabs, pea gravel…basically everything we need to get our front yard in order. Since I am trying to go more drought tolerant with my front yard landscaping, I want to find elements that will make my yard look less like a desert and more like an oasis…but with everything we do…it needs to be budget friendly. So let’s hop in the car to see what we can find and learn about how much we are going to need to spend.

Rock should not cost that much
Algos took my comment down, so I'll be short! Love the planter & lighting ideas. RoundUp the swail weeds & spray paint them' lawn green' color…..it's trending & Home Depot sells that paint starting at $7. Rock quote must be for 10%+ extra rock…..do they accept returns? Small rocks eventually sink with every rain. Visit Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity, etc. Birds always dump seeds & you guessed it, they sprout……risk vs reward.

That rock place was cool!! I've never seen a place quite like it…. How about making a wooden walkway and then use the rocks to go along the sides of the wooden walkway??? It might cut the cost some….Just a thought…
