It’s exactly what we wanted. It’s actually beyond what we wanted, what we thought we were going to get. And it’s just given us the areas that we wanted within the garden. Made the garden much more usable, particularly with the nice summer we’ve just had.
0:14 Garden Play Area
So, we’ve spent a lot more time outside than we have done previously. The play area was really probably what started us thinking about what we wanted to do with the garden. We have three young granddaughters. We see them a fair amount of time now, and we wanted somewhere for them to be able to play that would be safe, that would be clean and tidy. They absolutely love it. They call it their playground when they come around. The little house that we have, there’s got all sorts of things in them for the play with as well.
When we first moved here, this area was fundamentally for the trees and bushes, and we dug it all out, put down a patio. And it’s the area which gets the sun longest in the day. In the evenings, we would tend to sit down here. The sun goes around far around our side of the house. We’ve had parties here with the children, particularly when children’s parties, when we’ve had quite a few children tearing around all over the place and things. And now, it’s much more usable than it was before because of the area, because of the patio areas and things that we’ve got. So, people like it.

The whole process was very good. It was very efficient. There were no delays in the work. The thing that impressed me, which part of the reason why we wanted to use a company like this was they started the work and they remained here ’til they finished it. They were very tidy and clean, and they were very good, very, very competent, very professional. The team were very, very good. We were really pleased with them.
