QUIET 🤫 SEED STARTING | MARCH 2023 | ZONE 5 INDOOR GARDENING GROW LIGHTS | 8-10 WEEKS BLFD | LOFI

What’s up? Ready to start some seeds, I am!
I was in the mindset to get my seeds started, but I wasn’t really feeling super chatty. So… This is a less talking and more documenting style video that I didn’t want to just not do. Listed below are the Seeds I’ve started the last week of march. This puts me right around 8 weeks before my last frost date, therefore I’m starting all my 8-10 and 6-8 B.L.F.D seeds.

Oh and who am I? right, My name is Trish, I garden in Wisconsin, USA zone 5A. I have two small pop up greenhouses I use indoors with grow lights on a timer and move the popups outside when plants are ready to be hardened off. My estimated last frost date is May 10th but I bank on May 22nd to play is safe. I was brand spanking new the gardening game in 2019 and became hooked. This will be my 5th growing season and I’m still finding my groove.

I am brand new to chickens and eager to learn and love these girls. I ordered five Easter Egger pullets (female only chicks). I’m not sure that all of them are Easter Eggers (I’m looking at you Daffodil and Ivy… 👀)
So that order was placed in January 2023, and I picked them up March 11, 2023 from my local Farm & Fleet store. They were only a few days old. They’re names are: Daffodil, Belladonna, Poison Ivy, J1407B a.k.a “Super Saturn”, and…. Pooper!

I’m was going to order a coop from amazon, BUT, I don’t really like the options. They are all really small and I don’t like that the nesting boxes hang off to one side. The jury is still out but I may decide to build my own.

Why not? I love creating more work for myself LOL.
