🌻308 🌻 WHAT SEEDS TO SOW IN APRIL 🌻 WHAT TO PLANT IN APRIL

WHAT SEEDS TO SOW IN APRIL 🌻 WHAT TO PLANT IN APRIL Choosing what seeds to sow in April and also what to plant in April can depend on the weather. April can prove unpredictable which can affect how seeds germinate. Plants can be potted on but will still need protection. Finally, a good friend and fellow YouTube Gardener Tony O’Neill @simplifygardening supply’s a pre-release copy of his second book for my gardening library. Sit back and ENJOY!!!

  1. Great video Nigel. I love this time of year getting everything in to cells. Thanks for the book promo much appreciated.

  2. Wish I lived closer. I'd have gladly given you all my cannas. I had to tear them out as they were a huge attractant for Japanese beetles. Bummer

  3. Can't believe you are using the precious Bathgate in spud buckets! LOL
You say Β£7 for a Canna, I wonder how much this will increase in a few years when they are forced to use peat-free? (Unless they already are of course)

  4. Well April should see loads of work getting done and plans being put into play. Hopefully it will be warmer and dry. Have a fantastic weekend Nigel, Ali πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

  5. Wonderful to see sun in the video 🀩. It’s cool here in Northumberland mostly. We got brilliant weather yesterday today however was rubbish hey ho Typical Gardner I’m complaining about weather. Onwards and upwards πŸ˜‚

  6. Morning mate
Going to get my spuds in this weekend ( just two rows in the ground).
We used to have Canna lillies, they're lovely plants.
I'm really struggling to get bell peppers to germinate this year 😒
    Nice gift from Tony!

  7. Thank you for your as usual great content.
It would be handy if you could have a rundown of all your powders and potion’s, as a first time allotment holder it would be very useful.
    Many thanks πŸ‘πŸ»

  8. Funny I just watched one of Tony's videos before I came to watch yours and I thank you both for your enthusiasm. πŸ‘

  9. It was my first time sowing dahlias this year and was surprised how quick they got started. Thanks for the video, great information as always Bootz

  10. Hello Nigel.
    Yet again another informative video.
You have certainly been busy by looking at all your seedlings in the greenhouse. The book gifted by Tony certainly looks interesting. The Cannas should give you a nice display.
Take care, keep safe and keep smiling. Cheers. Pete.

  11. Hi Nigel followed your lead and planted some spuds in buckets , Nigel being a novice how often do I water at this time of year? Hugs from Shropshire

  12. I have grown my dahlias from seed too. I dont know why everyone wouldnt grow them from seed, they are fairly easy to grow! and the roots are so much more expentive, I love dahlias.
