WHAT SEEDS TO SOW IN APRIL π» WHAT TO PLANT IN APRIL Choosing what seeds to sow in April and also what to plant in April can depend on the weather. April can prove unpredictable which can affect how seeds germinate. Plants can be potted on but will still need protection. Finally, a good friend and fellow YouTube Gardener Tony O’Neill @simplifygardening supply’s a pre-release copy of his second book for my gardening library. Sit back and ENJOY!!!

Lots to get started tomorrow. Just had a week away
Let's to.get going at thanks for the update π
Great video Nigel. I love this time of year getting everything in to cells. Thanks for the book promo much appreciated.
Wish I lived closer. I'd have gladly given you all my cannas. I had to tear them out as they were a huge attractant for Japanese beetles. Bummer
Nigel, another great enjoyable video. ππ
lovely video
Can't believe you are using the precious Bathgate in spud buckets! LOL
You say Β£7 for a Canna, I wonder how much this will increase in a few years when they are forced to use peat-free? (Unless they already are of course)
Good man
Well April should see loads of work getting done and plans being put into play. Hopefully it will be warmer and dry. Have a fantastic weekend Nigel, Ali π¨π¦
Cannas are superb Theyβre great plants
Really interesting to hear your thoughts of Tonyβs book. Thanks for that x

Thank you for your as usual great content.
It would be handy if you could have a rundown of all your powders and potionβs, as a first time allotment holder it would be very useful.
Many thanks ππ»
Hi,do you have a post on how you support your netting over your crops?
Funny I just watched one of Tony's videos before I came to watch yours and I thank you both for your enthusiasm. π
Hi Nigel all being well hope to get few buckets potatoes planted up this weekend if rain ever stops.
I have never sown dahlias. Will they produce a tuner that you can replant ?
Hi Nigel
If it ever stops rain here I hope to start planting out soon.
As you seen I have lots to plant out but it is just too wet.
It was my first time sowing dahlias this year and was surprised how quick they got started. Thanks for the video, great information as always Bootz
Another fantastic informative video! ππ
Hello Nigel.
Yet again another informative video.
You have certainly been busy by looking at all your seedlings in the greenhouse. The book gifted by Tony certainly looks interesting. The Cannas should give you a nice display.
Take care, keep safe and keep smiling. Cheers. Pete.
Hi Nigel. I will be planting some potatoes this week, and peas too. I think I will have some volunteer lettuces coming up this year. Thank you for the information. take care
Hi Nigel, great video, thanks for sharing and take care π
Hi Nigel followed your lead and planted some spuds in buckets , Nigel being a novice how often do I water at this time of year? Hugs from Shropshire
Great video as always nigel, hope you have a great easter weekend mate
I have grown my dahlias from seed too. I dont know why everyone wouldnt grow them from seed, they are fairly easy to grow! and the roots are so much more expentive, I love dahlias.
