Yeah, this last (news covered) school shooting was in a private, Christian school. If all the shootings were in monied, white families’ private schools, laws would change quickly. These narcissists only change when it comes for them.
BTW while writing this comment on Monday, 4/10/23 @ 10am, five people killed and 6 injured in mass shooting in RED Louisville, KY.
Violence goes all the way back to genocide of the Native Americans. How has the world forgotten? Slavery is another evil where they are trying to eliminate the complete atrocious history. Please do not help them negate the original Founding Fathers, the Native Americans, who were massacred. The society that brought Benjamin Franklin the idea of Democracy. Pilgrims violently killed fifty-five (55) Million Native Americans by violence, small pox blankets, sterilization and every manner they could imagine. Genocide all most to total completion the world seems to have forgotten these civilized slaughtered Native American Nations.

Shannon Watts does not understand we do not have two (2) Democrat parties. Have one (1) Authoritarian (Fascist) party & one (1) Democratic Party. Authoritarian party is arming themselves for the next Civil War that they want to have happen. Democrats need to understand that killing children is fine with Authoritarians (Fascist) and they plan on killing their families to take control of the American government r destroy all structures.

I believe if you're elected to office after producing your tax info you should be limited in your income sources, definitely when it comes to stocks the stock market also agree to not work as a lobbyist for 5 years after leaving office etc, we must change the reasoning for most people wanting to serve in the political spectrum.

The democrats need to start making ads stating that the Republican Party supports killing children as shown by there lack of supporting common sense gun laws. Saying this as a gun owner.

After DeSantis hid in quiet the signing of gun open carry with no license and no training. I realized it is a state of travelers and grandmas and grandpas and they have grandchildren and daughters and sons etc, etc. So how can everyone start a movement from grandmas and grandpas, Papa and Nanny? So they could really fight for their families and all the kids and leave a legacy for the United States. in 2023. d
Along with their gerrymandering too, it appears they tend to keep doing things as this and what blows me away is ppl will agree and follow. I bet the House is celebrating everything taken away, expelled, etc and this is why they say they are winning and accomplishing lots, especially Dasantis. And each time Trump goes on stage, gets arraignment, tweeting as much as he does, not being contained or told to not go on media, sitting in court rooms with camera on him, his facial looks, etc all contribute to Trump getting way more votes for the primary , maybe we should take all the cameras off of him, don't open their channels because each time we do they are counting the views and followers, how many are their real followers how many are not, let's see polls for that. All their followers they say is winning but only a few show up to protest? Something isn't right here.

Donald Trump is beaming with all this attention, making millions, that's why Republicans want him, and DeSantis in my opinion isn't really trying to beat Trump at all, he is allowing him to win, makes me wonder, DeSantis for VP, possibly because Trump loves what Dasantis is doing, it's all a show pretending to be furious at Dasantis, and same with Dasantis.
Like allowing six year olds with guns shooting teachers!

This is NOT just a GOP created problem. Corporate dems are just as culpable of the current gun violence problems in our society. Biden admin had the majority in Congress for the first 2 yrs of his term amd no action was taken while gun mass murders were continuing unabated. Obama had a super majority in the Senate and a majority in the house during his first 2 yrs as well…. no fu..ing action. Instead his admin increased immigrant deportations, persecuting whistle blowers, and increase in military budget and creating 6 extra wars to corruptly throw money. Both parties are despicable.
The word "freedom" gets bandied about far too much. Unlimited freedom cannot exist in a civilised society. There needs to be rules.
For comparison, in the UK the leading cause of death for children (1-9) is cancer, which is then displaced by "accidents" for adolescents (10-17)

I hated to come to this realization because of how ungracious it is, how unkind a thought it is, but I believe the republicans in love with guns are completely paranoid and uncaring about the deaths of children. They use their guns (or would) for their own protection and would use any child for a shield if no gun were at hand. See? Guns protect children from good guys! Guns are good!

The element of Russian funding to the NRA, who then bought Republican Politicians across this nation is never mentioned, and sadly Ms Watts is no different. Maria Butina returned to Russia a hero for her work with the NRA against the USA. Back round checks are not enough, not fast enough, not strong enough to make the change needed, a ban on "weapons of war" on our streets and in our homes is the ONLY answer.
The Slavery South was a cancer of violence in this country that the Civil War attempted to stop, but fell short of completing the treatment b/c Lincoln was murdered. The south failed to rebuild and its poverty festered as abuse of power over the defenseless where waving/using a gun was the quickest masculine dominance tool to control women and black/brown communities. Cut out the cancer.
