  2. Great deal on those seed storing. I know I am wanting to get some Comfrey seeds I see you made some salves from it. Looks good thank you!

  3. I really enjoy watching y’all because of your enthusiasm and passion. This is our first garden and we are excited how fast everything is growing. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

  4. I just ordered 3 of the photo keepers from Michaels. They were a lot cheaper there than from Amazon. Thanks for the tip

  5. I wish I could live in your zone, I'm a 3a/b and I can plant about June 10th to be safe and we get frost late august 🙁 It's a chore growing in my area.

  6. How long do you store the seeds before replacing them? And what is your germination rate like after storing for longer than a year? I'm anxiously waiting for the snow to melt so we can plant. We're still under 2-3 feet of snow. 😢

  7. Well bummer! I bought those black binders and had no shelf space for them, which means lugging them in a heavy duty totes from my cool dark basement. It was pretty expensive to buy the binders and envelope pages. I had sooo many seeds that it took 10 to 12 folders. I started with 2 of the picture cases you're showing here. Soooo, what I'm going to do now, is use the folders for actual pictures that are in boxes, taking up spaces on those book shelves. I'll go back to my cases like yours and put those in my basement or in my dark guestroom closet

  8. Oh my gosh! So many seeds! (seed envy here!) I have to get those photo boxes they look like a great way to store seeds. I agree, I have been collecting what i need to be garden ready to be prepared for what ever comes in the future.

  9. Look into your extension center / master gardener program in your state. They have tons of free training, seeds, swaps, plant sales, ask a gardener, natives, etc. there is one in the UK as well.

  10. I'm next door in NE NEVADA and I'm with you on the never ending winter. Ive seen enough snow and drifts to last the rest of my life! Lol
I've got all my cold crops started indoors and soon will start the summer stuff. We hope to have our greenhouse built this month. Happy Easter to you and your family.

  11. I’m in Arizona and have found it hard to find some seeds locally so I’m having to mail order. Thank you for all your wonderful information and videos! Keep’em comin’! 🙏🏼

  12. Always make sure that the seeds that are being shipped to you are legal to grow in your area. Some companies in the past have sent out seed packages that contained plants that are considered to be "invasive" and can destroy local habitats.

  13. Now I know why I haven't been getting any notifications! It says that I wasn't subscribed to the channel? Idk why YouTube has un-subscribed me from so many channels. Love watching your channel! Planning a new garden at our new homestead this year! Lots of plants just waiting to be planted😊

  14. New friends here. Just found your channel which popped up on my feed. I love the information. Look forward to watching more. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

  15. As I am going to be moving soon I am starting seeds indoors and then up potting and then hopefully I can start garden beds at my new place but if I can't I'll just do container gardening

  16. I have several tree rings around the perimeter of my yard that are serving as my raised garden beds! I haven’t planted a garden since moving off the farm 10 years ago, so I’m pretty excited 😊

  17. They have been restocking vegetable seeds at the dollar stores. 4 for a dollar. 1 pack at other store has 3 grams for 2 to 3 dollars. The dollar store packs have 1.25 grams. That's 5 grams per dollar. 4 times 1.25 = 5. 10 grams at 2 dollars. It is a better deal. Try more than one dollar store until you find one with seeds left.

  18. Hello both of you listening especially his point at the end. I seed the excitement ❤ im planning to try peppers here. Im also trying to seed swap.
