Preparing the Vegetable Garden/Allotment in March – Jobs to help with a Successful Harvest #98

In this video, I show you some of the jobs that I will be doing in my Veg garden to prepare for the upcoming growing season in March. I consider pruning, weeding, preparing veg beds and a number other jobs that you might consider doing for yourself.

By the end of the video, you’ll have plenty of information and suggestions to help get your vegetable garden or allotment off to a great start in March, setting you up for a successful growing season ahead.

If you would like a copy of my 2023 Vegetable or Flower Sowing & Planting Calendar, as referred to in the video then send me an email to garyoneill65@hotmail.co.uk and I will send you a copy by return email. Please note that the sowing & planting dates in each of the calendars are based on growing zone 8, in the UK. The calendar are however editable and can be adjusted to suit your own local conditions.

  10. Hi gary, i have tried to email you twice mate to request both calenders, as need all the help i can get as my first allotment after 9 years waiting.

  11. I’ve been using your excel spreadsheet for the last couple of years and it is so good, it is easy to add different vegetables to the chart. It is very kind of you to let us all have it for free. I also love the plot plan where you can drag and drop the vegetable coloured squares around to design your own plot layout. Thanks again
