  1. What a great video. It was obvious just how much that gentleman enjoyed his visit and your input. What a lucky man?

  2. Hello I need help I have ordered so many clipping but the minute they get roots and tiny branches I take them out of the water and plant them. Once I do that I always manage to kill them. I'm very sad with my new batch. I unplanted then stuck them back in water before I killed it. What am I doing wrong I so want a bonsai tree!

  3. Really enjoyed this video Peter. Great to see the enthusiasm this gentleman has on his bonsai journey 🙏🏻

  4. Mr. Chan is a perfect gentleman. He’s also a man who knows what he is going to say before he says it . Nary a “uh” as a place holder and never a “ like”.
Would hate to see him angry:)

  5. Hallo Peter – you have been an teaching me though your video for the last two year. Thank for keeping me going and your inspiration. Shawn (South Africa)

  6. Love to see the admiration and respect of the fans like my self when they get to meet the master in person

  7. Wow the passion really shows from the start! I've started with a little Chinese elm from the big DIY store in Scotland.

Your videos have been really helpful

  8. Very nice Sunday morning lesson. Great videography. I have been growing trees for 30 years. Love the simplicity and engaging format

  10. I wish I could be a guest and meet you Peter. Your videos have brought me so much joy because I have genuinely always wanted to learn how to grow my own bonsai (Since the movie Karate Kid 😂) and now- I have. I have even given my bonsai names. One is called: The Marriage, in which I got two young Japanese Maple limbs and gracefully intertwined them together and at the top, I wired them into a heart. The trees are flourishing! Thank you for all you do to help us Peter!☺️🙏🏻

  11. I like his trees, I think he may need to find his own sort of refined style, fear not, that comes with time and practice. The trees seem to be rather healthy.

  12. I am sooo excited! I have connected with a bonsai grower here in my area and he wants me to set up pre-bonsai with my tree/shrub projects! I attended a short 2 hour class on "development" with two of his customer's evergreen bonsai as examples and it was very informative. I have a lot to learn! YOU have been a great help, and I just discovered that your book is available at my local library so I've requested it. I'm looking forward to learning even more about bonsai. Now I have a local connection to physically view planters, containers, pots, and all kinds of soil, akadama, pumice, tools, etc.

  13. I haven a young ginseng ficus I bought from a box store it’s still small but it has 4 or 5 in a cluster should I trim it back to one? Also it has some shoots coming from the roots should those be trimmed aswell? My goal is to make it into a tree and not a bush

  14. I learned so much from this video. As a bonsai novice was great to see you transform 4 small trees. Thanks for sharing!

  15. Hahaha! This man is quite jolly. I like the way he has blended an accent of Indian and Scottish mannerisms. 👍

  16. Your Iranian follower here🙋🏻‍♀️ (although I do live in Sweden). I’ve been watching your channel for a couple years, they have a calming effect on me. Thanks for sharing the art of bonsai with us!

  17. I remember that Dr he was so nervous he was shacking like a dog shitting razor blades. Ernie smith from brisbane Australia

  18. I hope he doesn’t leave the wire on for 2 years on this baby tree- and being a yew – in 2 years that wire would be very embedded. Do t think of it as a time table of ‘Hafta keep it on’ watch the wire and remove when it starts biting even if it’s in 6 months. Rewire if needed❤

  19. Your russian follower here!
I started doing bonsai inspired by your videos about 2 years ago and now I have about 20 trees 😂
Thank you for shownig that everyone can do bonsai 💚🌳

  20. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 thanks Peter
