  1. Your garden is very inspiring! And, yes, it is a lot of work but it will pay off when you harvest!! You are blessed with a hard working husband and he is blessed with you!!

  2. What a lovely couple!
    Teamwork makes the dream work!
Truth be told you both made a lot of progress on various projects in your homestead garden this week & knocked it out of the park again!

  3. Tommy what an amazing Improvement! I remember the buckets LOL cuz that's how I started my Gardens with buckets all different sizes lol this weekend though starting on a double-sized raised bed. Working also on a bird sanctuary that's going to bring in a lot of pollinators with beautiful flowers flowers most of them edible and herbs. Putting herbs throughout the entire yard all over the place. Y'all be safe over there with this weather. Take care and God bless

  4. Possible heavy weather for my area, and yours. Early tomorrow morning. God Bless

  5. Thank you for posting as another subscriber mentioned this is very inspiring and helpful to see how the two of you work together. We need to see more of this. Thank you.

  6. This video inspired me to play ‘Tevin Campbells’, ‘Can we Talk’ today. 😊

  7. I love those birds in the background .We have a satellite tower too close
I think it kills our birds .I read it does affect wildlife .

  8. Tommy ,I did this digging up the ground about four years ago .Its hard work too .Then I planted and put up a small fence . I had so many tomatoes then ,okra, green peppers . I love working outside .God bless great job to both of you .

  9. You guys as a team got it done. You are Blessed to have someone helping you. Preparing the ground for gardening is hard work. Tilling and weeding ain't for the faint in heart. I just finished removing the weeds. Tomorrow, I will be tilling the soil. Thanks for sharing your story.

  10. Love you up here in Maine ! I am The Maine Artist Retreat and want to start my own channel. Hope you guys come up and stay with us and eat some lobster. We love the garden and content🙏🏻

  11. I also want to say you guys have come a long way and it’s awesome to see! Keep inspiring and prosper ❤

  12. If you have a open compost area cover with cardboard boxes but make sure all tap and plastic is off. It helps it break down faster and hold the stick smell down from death . Also if cardboard breaks down that's free mulch add more to the top to cover up . Your garden is nice and it's always wondered seeing your husband who's taking care of things we need.

  13. Tommy, your husband is very industrious, and he does a marvelous job. He’s a good man. And I should say, I can tell he is a Godly man. May the Lord bless the work of your hands.

  14. I just want to know one thing. Why weren’t the two of you wearing gloves while taking that tiller out of the truck? Thank God neither of you cut yourselves. 🤦🏽‍♀️. Oh I forgot to add, much love and great work! 💕🙏🏽

  15. That's a nice tiller. Your garden looks amazing. We are planting okra and corn in the ground also. Love your setup. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your weekend

  16. Be careful with that equipment and the ramps. It's just takes one time and you can damage yourself for life. If need be hire a couple of guys to aid in this activity.

  17. I can agree the tiller kills your body… I made 3 passes over our in ground beds before my husband came home and caught me doing the "man's job" lol… my back was all tweaked and I was in pain the next morning…

  18. I love you two getting it done. I kniw tou are preaching truth when you talk about grocery store quality. Nothing beats home grown fresh veggies. Your garden prep us looking good. 👍

  19. I rototilled my garden once, but I was 38 then and so much stronger. I could lift a 125 lb German Shepard. It still beat me up pretty good. I even pulled it out of the back of our van and banged the heck out my shin. Now at 65 I can’t do most of that hard stuff and my husband has to 😕 It’s amazing how strong men are!

Your garden beds and enclosures are beautiful!

  20. Hello, been watching your videos for a few months now. I usually dont comment, but I was wondering what is the purpose of rice husk. I've never heard of using rice husk. I love watching and learning new stuff. I have a huge tiller like that, it's old my dad got it for me used, but I love it. Mine is a craftsman.

  21. You may want to Google or YouTube companion planting. I do know people plant beans with corn and also pumpkins/watermelons. The corn provides the beans something to climb on, the beans will absorb nitrogen from the air and add to the soil (not right away but when it dye back leave the roots and cut out the bean plant above the soil), the pumpkin/watermelon will help cover the ground like a mulch and hold moisture.

Also if you get a good compost you won’t have to buy the bags of clay breaker. They may have it at the place you buy your bulk soil. Not the 50/50 mix just pure compost. You can use your chicken manure but it has to age at least 6mos or it could burn your plants. I hope this helps. God bless
