Grandson With 2 DISABLED GRANDPARENTS Struggle MAINTAINING YARD, So I Did It For FREE!!!



I hope everyone had a great weekend and welcome back to another episode.

So as I was driving thru my route I notice this yard and how the edges and front garden bed were start to get out of control, now this neighborhood has a lot of senior citizens and elders so I felt it necessary to go knock on the door and offer my services for free to them. At first they were kinda of stand off-ish as expected but once I explained to them what I do and why I do it they gave me the green light to clean it up.

Their story is a touching one. The grandson took on the responsibility on becoming his grandparents legal guardian and he dedicates his time to take care of them and whatever their needs are while working a full-time job. His grandfather has to be assisted by a wheel chair and his grandmother has severe arthritis. He was telling that he was only capable of cutting the grass but they didn’t have the equipment to do it.

The fact that he stepped up to the plate to make sure that his grandparents were looked after properly really touched me. The honor in that decision was very moving, so once he got done telling me this I was happy I knocked on the door.

    Dj you did it once again, awesome job. That certainly was a lot of trimming and weedwacking to get it looking crisp and trimmed. I would liked to have seen you also cleanup behind that fence to spruce up the back yard as well. It honestly looked like the wheelchair access might be the back yard. Enough negativity Dj, you always do a beautiful makeover, keep on doing what you do bringing sunshine into those you meets lives.

    Wow, there’s sure enough curbs that are very overgrown. You sure know how to make them look great! You handle everything so calmly and efficiently. You always do such a meticulous job.     You did a great job! It looks so much better. I probably would have trimmed the trees back a little bit that are by the front sidewalk…and cut off the sucker branches on the bottoms of the trees near the street. A few good rain showers and some sun and the new branches will add color and life back to this home! Keep up the good work!

    Listen, what can I say I'm an 65 year old grandma too, but I love to help other people who have it worse than I do but anyway this is not about me but your beautiful work no matter what you do, I'm always amazed at the work you do, you take pride and make sure you touch every corner of the yards, this guy must be so grateful for what you did at this house, please don't ever stop caring.
