7 Surprise Shortcut Endings for Lazy Players: Commenter Edition

With all the stuff you have to do in a day, there’s simply not enough time to get through the huge pile of games you need to finish. Unless you find a surprising shortcut that takes to you the ending – or at least an ending – in a mere fraction of the time. Consider these timesaving techniques suggested by the commenters on our previous video on the topic, and subscribe for more videos like this from Outside Xbox!

  1. Idk which is better: Bendy and the Dark Revival's ending which requires you to wait at your desk for a few minutes, or Mr. Hops Playhouse 2's ending where you nope out of there.

Actually, the best and unique one will have to be the ending to Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion that can be achieved if you TURN OFF ALL THE SPECIMENS AND JUMPSCARES

  2. Most of the Clock Towers have a similar early Bad Ending. The PS1 version ends early if you forget where you sent the statue and don’t find it after the first level. As with this one, whoever you played as either gets murdered, or walks in on the other getting murdered and, surprise, also gets murdered. Murdery game that one.

  3. Two Worlds teaches us that community is our strongest weapon, and with it we can rise up and crush our oppressors!

  4. To be fair to Issac, going on the quest damns the world anyway, so… saying should have saved.

Unless the Wiseman got some other sap to go on the quest.

  5. @11:42 the amount of games that I’ve bought because Mike/Jane stressed me out, would like a word…

  6. In infernax there is an ending for runing away instead of fighting the first enemy in the game

  7. I like the ending in Mortal Shell where you ignore all the scary monsters, and just chill and play your lute with your new friend.

  8. That Witch's House thing appears to be one of those horror properties that mistakes being edgy and tasteless for being scary.

  9. Wait, is this a sequel to a video FROM EIGHT YEARS AGO?

Sidenote: Jane's make-up game has gotten much better since that video went up.

Another game that's easy to recommend for this sort of list, when you get to a follow-up in 2031, is Astalon: Tears of the Earth, where you can simply walk left at the start and the game ends.

  10. Life line on the PS2 if you keep telling the main character no she will shoot the camera and leave

  11. If you want to go really old school. In Space Quest 2, if you type the command “cheat” into the game you immediately win with 5 more points then are possible. The current “Any%” speed run record for the game is 1 second

  12. I’m not sure in the Witch’s House one is a shortcut per se, because if you know the game well you can plow through the whole game in half that time, but it certainly is /easier/.

  13. Heya Outsidexbox crew was curious if you ever thought of doing a top 10 scariest stalker enemies in games list you could easily fill it with Resident evil villians or even rank them tho the Alien from Alien Isolation probably would be at the top 👽😱

  14. I see Clock Tower in the thumbnail, I click!
There's actually two versions of the "scr3w this, I'm out of here!" car ending. That one… and if all her friends "game over" and then she flees by car, she actually makes it to safety. …Only to turn up not-alive later on, implying she ended herself from the grief / survivor's guilt (but it could've also been the evil beings from the mansion hunting her down).

  15. I loved Golden Sun a good game that wasnt pokemon or zelda for a handheld. Quest for Camalot was also a great RPG. Yall should do a vid of least known RPG for handhelds or something along the line. Suikoden Teir Crys should also don that list GREAT GAME and i hate handheld so getting to play that throu was a blessing

  16. Has the person building the lower thirds been watching a lot of Friends recently? Those titles seem… familiar.

  17. As a lazy player, myself, I shall do myself the courtesy of considering all of these Canon and to consider myself a pretty impressive speed gamer for completing all of them so quickly 😎

  18. I'm not sure if you already covered it but in mass effect 2 You get bad endings but it is possible to immediately go after the collectors

  19. Clock Tower is proof of two things 1) Always check the backseat and 2) Always bring a weapon, no matter where you're going

  20. Time Hollow for the DS literally gave you a way to end the game at the start, which cleverly was a reference to time themes that came up in the game

  21. Thid game is still (relatively) new, but what about Bugsnaxs. You could go around just doing your own thing and ignore all the side quest, but not only will it lock you out of the free DLC that comes pre-installed, but you'll most likely get the worst ending, as one wrong slip up and you'll lose all the friends you've barely made.

  22. 12:14 I think I finally get the reference now between sleepy princess Sya Lis and her nickname of scissor demon.😮

  23. How do you get the birthday balloons to appear in The Stanley Parable?

  24. Suikoden 4 has a fast ending, when you get ship wrecked early on in the game, you can just succumb to island life, and boom ending.

  25. Has anyone suggested "Monty Python & the Quest for the Holy Grail" (1996) point-click-adventure? The main menu consists of three buttons: "Collect the Grail," "See the Film," and "Register Now."

    * SPOILERS (on a 27 year old game) *

Choosing the first one immediately completes the game.

  26. The Witches house as describe by u (i haven't played it) confuses me, do u start the game as the girl who cut off her legs and left her original body to die or are u the girl she intends to body swap with and she gets to do so if u enter the house? because if she was in the body all along why would she go back into the house possibly allowing the girl who's body she stole from being able to find a way to get her body back? also why did she want to swap bodies in the 1st place?, it's a horror game so i am not likely to ever play it or watch someone else play it myself so i need answers god damn it.

  27. i mean in a survival situation i would probably gun it for the car too and leave everyone there to fend for themselves, but i would however as is a rule from Zombie Land, check the back seat b4 getting in said car let alone leaving in it.

  28. They forgot Riven (the sequel to Myst).
If you activate the telescope in the starting area at the wrong point, you will be able to spend eternity in void in space.
