  1. DEFINITELY taken out of context!!!
    There's no way he's charging $200 for one cut for a "small lawn"… That's probably for $200 for the month… $50 a cut…

  2. This is exactly why I work my own yard. Fert is 45 bucks, weed control big ass bag 40 bucks, push reel mower 70 bucks, blower 50 bucks, edger 90 bucks, bug & fungal control 30 a piece. Water bill for watering grass 5 bucks. You literally save more money if you do it yourself self. YouTube videos, books and even local colleges will help you test your soil.. $200 is a rip. At most 100 if he's laying fert and weed control.

  3. That's just realistic prices and honest business. Spamming half the nation with McDonald's prices is not what most companies are interested in doing

  4. I'll bet you Manuel makes a lot of money having minimum charges! That's how you make money! Sometimes when I hear people doing a lawn for 45 bucks I'm laughing! Unless it's a park the truck and do four in a row within an hour!

  5. There’s the normal price and the “F U” price. The biggest “F U” the customer could do is hire him for $200 and screw up his schedule.

  6. No, size of the yard doesn't matter. He ain't coming out for less than $200, pick some extra services; gutters, shrubs, mulch. I'm sorry if your yard isn't that big, maybe he's not the right guy for you.

  7. Bro. Hes saying that his minimum amount that he will go to a yard for is 200$, meaning that all of his business os customers spending 200$ plus with him. Most likely he means that most people get weeds pulled and fertilizer as-well to make the total 200$.

Just because your business model is different does not mean he is overcharging.

  8. If everyone competes on price, you'll all go out of business. Never knock others in your industry.

  9. I like Manuel. Straight shooter. Asks all the right questions and gives honest quote letting the caller know he might be better off calling a smaller outfit. Manuel knows his overhead AND his value. My kind of guy. I need service, I'm calling Manuel.

  10. That's my minimum this year also
    4x$50= $200 per month
    We cut 4 times
Seems like he's screening If you'd be an adequate client and doesn't want to waste when phone call is basically over once you don't accept his price 📵☎️
    I like it ! ✅

  11. $200 a minimum isn’t bad… most professional business have operating costs… & time is money don’t expect someone to be happy to take time out of their day drive 35minutes to your house… mow your little quarter acre of yard & pack up all his crew & equipment you are taking out of commission wasting his time… so if you need it bad you’ll pay the $200 its called self worth… searching for a baseline via your competitors is nice however you must understand if you are new you aren’t going to be paid as much as the guy who can send a whole team of 4 to knock out a whole 4 acre yard in 15minutes so understand value… I guess? 😊
