I love your videos ❤
When you do chop off those oak limbs, make sure you make proper cuts on the tree.
Hey Paul!!! Pawpaws self pollinate as well!! Need two or more unrelated trees for fruit. Just FYI
lolol YOU DONT LIVE IN THE SOUTH EAST. you live in southeast Texas.
Good to have you back
Where did you get the passion vine from? I'm close to Houston also. League city. Thanks
Paul Plantu makes my plant grow
Yessir the plant whisperer is back at it. 🌱🪴🌿🌵🏵☘️
Earth is my plonet! Gotta love it. Excited for this year channel!
Love all the new plants! Your garden is looking really good, can’t wait to see how it progresses.
Love it!!!
Mr plantu back at it!
Looks great bro! Fantastic content as always Holmes.
Have you considered a Mexican plum? They are native to Texas, cold hardy in your area, and the fruit tastes good right off the tree.
Can't wait to see how these plants like their new home
Loquat survived 18° without protection. I hear satsuma orange and Meyers lemons take frost well.
Buchanan's is my spot!!!
Greetings from San Antonio
the yard is looking great!
I wish i could try the texas persimmon one day.
a new Plantu! I'm in CA zone 9 I need me some of that Okinawan Spinach! Im thinkin bout a Paw Paw but have never seen them at nurseries. That Passionfruit vine is gonna grow buckwild. Mine survived winter night temps around 30F, I use them in smoothies. "Urth es ma plont"
New subscriber here. Was looking for some fellow houston growers. I’m in the process of creating a food forest here on the northwest side of houston on my tiny lot. Front yard swale planned. Working on some native prairie plants for pollination and possible natural area permit later down the road if I end up needing it. Already have a moringa, ice cream banana, blueberries, some raised Irish lazy garden beds in the front yard w tomatoes, strawberries, and supporting plants. Planning on cold hardy citrus, avocados, cherries, peaches, pawpaw, mulberry, and figs.
If you haven't already you have GOT to grow some loquat trees. They are everywhere where I am (Charleston, SC, zone 8b) and thrive in heat, humidity, but are also frost hardy. They produce tons of totally delicious little golden yellow fruits and have gorgeous tropical looking leaves.
The Jelly Palm is another fruiting tree that grows well and survives frosts around here – the fruit isn't something you can really eat right off the vine, but can be cooked into gelatin free jams and jellies.
Also FIGS – grow all the FIGS.
We needed more info on that Snake…?
Oy! Fluff your roots when you plant stuff! And dig your tree holes deeper, backfill etc
I love all your videos! Watch that banana plant though. They are heavy feeders and gulp down the water! I'm in S. FL Zone 10b, I've been struggling with 2 banana planta for 8 years now and no fruit. 😭
Tell me more about that snake! I ran into a baby one I. My garden yesterday and now I’m scared to go out again!, lol
Loquat, Asian pear, and some Raspberries would be a good addition 😀
😊
