  2. Always love your video's! Good luck in France while there (quite soon I guess) and keep posting!

  3. Did I miss a video about why you bought property in France, and will you be selling your home in the UK, and moving? Loved the video tour of France, it was great! Very pretty country.

  4. not to scare you mate but check that roof sheet isn’t an old asbestos one!Loving the content anyway and hope ur keeping well!

  5. I absolutely love your property in France, Joel. I’m glad you’ve been able to visit it again.
I see so much potential for your garden. It will be a fantastic place for you and wildlife to enjoy.
It’s a shame about your alders that fell. I don’t envy the efforts needed to clear it from the river.
As always, keep up the great work, and take care! -John

  6. I was waiting for this video. 😊 Sorry to hear about your trees that fell over. That is going to be a huge job. Thanks for sharing.

  7. You got a lot of clearing done in a short visit! The tree in the river is going to be a challenge without a big machine, I think the only way you can get that out is to use the flow of the river, and winch it back into the bank, unless you can get into the river with waders and chainsaw it smaller, have you got a Turfor winch, not sure how much that tree weighs, but at least it is buoyant, the problem is going to be the amount of rubbish build up against it. Good Luck! Chris B.

  8. Hey Joel! Lovely to have so many mature trees as well as the new ones you've planted. I'm sure over time it will attract even more wildlife to add to what's already there. Sad to see the loss of the old ones but I'm sure you'll put all that wood to good use. Best wishes.

  9. Just so happy for you, Nikki and the family Joel. What dream to be able to develop your own land to a coppice and a sanctuary for the local wildlife. I presume that your diet consists mainly of tinned spinach! 💪 It's going to be amazing. Best wishes.

  10. Oh, now this is absolutely gorgeous. What an exciting garden., like a secret garden.
This is the most perfect wildlife space, a balanced habitat with so much going on. It's like everything you could wish for in one delightful space. Just imagine when the wildlife pond is created. Its going to unfold and evolve into the most incredible and divine place. I can't wait to see this blossom and fill further with all that wonderful wildlife. This is definitely a place to enrich your souls.Thank you for sharing:)

  11. Really enjoyed your video Joel. Off to watch the previous ones from last June too. Good luck with getting the tree out of the river!

  12. Another great video. I learn a lot watching you Joel! I've been a fan of using mostly natives in the garden for wildlife but watching your videos has taught me to think beyond that. For me that is on a much smaller scale in a stamp-sized city garden (as we call it in dutch), in a neighbourhood known for their fully tiled gardens. Trickledown effect is at play! My neighbour has asked me to help green and wild up their garden this spring as the've looked over the fence and wanted in on the fun. Her garden is quite a bit bigger than mine so who knows, hopefully I might get her to agree to a wildlife pond. I'll have to consult your videos if I'm successful 😉

  13. ❤Great video Joel. One question, how will you keep the bramble taking over again. Will you dig out roots from the central areas you cleared or will you have to find time to keep hacking it back annually? Good luck with clearing the tree across the river when you go back.💚

  14. Blimey Joel! It would of taken me a week to do what you did in a day 😮 Absolutely love the scenery from your amazing garden.
Keep up the good work 😉

  15. What an incredible garden in the making for your family and local wildlife to enjoy, well worth the backbreaking work 🐝

  16. You need a part-time gardener, who will be looking fete your gorgeous garden. 😀

  17. Hey Joel, if ever you need a hand with the language, the mairie, etc. give me a shout. Like tidying up those fallen trees for example. It would be a pleasure to give something back for all your content. Cheers, Dan.

  18. Good video Joel, once again.Beautiful French garden. The trees are fab.The older trees are wonderful and the saplings are a joy!Until the next time….thankyou.😀🎆

  19. That's a lovely project you have there joel. Those were very impressive alder, ive never seen an alder that size before.
In south wales we have a lot, but they tend to topple due to bankside erosion, and here they do have a tendency to rot leaving cavities.
I'm very impressed to see the river banks there so clean and free from modern debris, one of my pet hates.
    With best wishes from Wales.👍

  20. Joel I've got a front lawn that's 100% shade and basically a bog. What can I do to make it great for wildlife?

  21. What a beautiful place ❤ could happily sit in there all day as it is…….sad to see your alders tho 😢 we’ve lost another 60ft fir . Good luck getting it out of the river 🤞🤞
