  1. Does anyone know what you call determinate and indeterminate potatoes in german? I am finding nothing – I have seen Gunda and seed Agria potatoes and want to grow them in containers. I'vee seen lists from english speaking countries,, but neither were on them.

  2. I first started growing in 30 litre buckets two years ago. I’ve not had great success. I use a fairly decent compost, add BFB. I think it’s down to the watering, I’m watering every 3 days?

  3. Excellent advice as always Tony 👍 I’ve got some Sangre a red variety chitting for planting out soon. Have a fantastic weekend, Ali 🇨🇦

  4. Its always a great pleasure to watch your videos Tony. Everyone's circumstances regarding growing vegetables ie space temperatures climate is different. I know if i follow your instructions as closely as possible i will achieve great results . Thank You .

  5. Great video…I used your framing method around my potatoes last year to keep them up..worked great! 🇨🇦❤️

  6. Any reason now you say use 4 seed potatoes instead of 2? I’ve seen a lot of incredible harvests with guys using just 2. Thanks!

  7. I'm experimenting this year, using Swift on those 30l containers.
All grown in a 50/50 mix of Growmoor multipurpose/homemade compost.
5 containers had 100g of potato specific organic fertiliser.
4 containers had 100g of blood, fish & bone.
    4 containers had 100g of 10:10:10 Growmore.
I'll let you know how they do.
Next week, it's my Charlottes going in (they get stored by cutting off the tops, then leaving them in the tubs in the garage until needed – they keep till Christmas & supply the next year's seed potatoes too).

  8. Thanks Tony
Been watching your videos since the beginning of lockdown and now as a family we will be using your tips in our first full veg garden.

  10. Great video, slightly burnt out. you can insert some pipe down through the container with holes drilled in to water equally water it instead of just pouring it on the top.

  11. This year
    50% top quality sandy loam.
    25% quality compost
    25% irish peat…

Oh yeah …. And fingers xd..😅
