LEGO City Update! Layout Changes & Placing 1950s Diner!

In this LEGO city update, I MILS plate the 1950s Diner set and place it! The MILS integration includes a parking lot on a 48×48 baseplate. It looks so much better! Of course… in order to place it in the city I have to make a ton of changes to the layout… exciting times!

  1. The diner looks good in either position. If you need more space have the smaller parking area. But the larger parking makes sense to show off some cars and makes sense for where people would hang out near the beach/skate park. Looks good and I like your changes. Love the building techniques!

  2. Hi! Good positioning for the diner, but I would not waste such a big space for additional parking lot. Like also the new place of the farm, will look great with the plans you mentioned in the update!👍

  3. Hi Jordan, You should go to Sonic if you have one in your city and check out their menus boards in front of the parking stalls. Seen as your waitress is on roller skates you should make it a little more authentic. How fun would that be.

  4. I'm new to this channel but I'm enjoying the content so far. I have a question. At 10:45, how are you able to film and place the Legos in the center of the table? Do you have some way you can go from above?

  5. I think you should put the farm where the home alone house ect is and move then to where the farm currently is

  6. I think it would fit really well if you add a gas station to the area where the diner and parking lot area (and skatepark) is, it would be a nice service area for the city's vehicles and it would also be a nice little throwback to when you had the gas station in the same area when that used to be the boatyard.

  7. Right next to the 50s diner, you should put a gas line the gas station/ and also chicken pot, Amazon electric delivery van in your Lego city

  8. The farm just doesn’t fit anywhere in this city, I know you enjoy the farm but if we were going for realistic, the farm wouldn’t be close to anything it would have wide open detailed farm like area around it, which is a waste of space, which brings me back around to the farm doesn’t belong in the “city” or the “legocity”

  9. for the mountain you were talking about, you should almost build the raised train track into the mountain weather its a small little tunnel thing or you can make a mountain station engraved in the side. Great work

  10. The farm is perfect where it is. Where I live there is a farm that has a field and right next to that is a beach. I guess it's just more common in the countryside.

  11. Maybe you could add a multi storey car park that would be used by the beach and shops as well as the dinner?

  12. Boo to parking lot, especially right up front as you enter and see the city. It’s a FAKE city, who cares if there isn’t “good parking options.” Ha! The cars are displayed well enough driving on the roads. I say use the space for something more colorful and creative.

  13. I love the tile work around the diner, but I can’t get that “hospital look” that the tile gave the diner now.😥

  14. If the diner stays in that position, outside seating could be added for the customers to get a good view of the beach

  15. I think the farm is simply at odds. Maybe shelving it until the nature area can be expanded in your new workshop?

  16. Buddy the farm is awesome but it doesn’t fit in your current space. Maybe take it out and use it when you have more space.

  17. in front of the dinner, why not try a 3-4 floors parking? with a park/swimming pool or rooftop bar? 🙂

  18. Having the train running over the farm, seems more "noisy" than the complaints about the modular buildings across the street in the old location.

  19. Hey Jordan, maybe you can place the New mansion in the spot you would place the farm. I would not bother keeping the ninjago buildings up there. They look great there. Keep up the good work!! Greetings from the Netherlands.

  20. Idea for the 48×48: a dirtbike/atv track! You must have loads of quads by now, it's fun landscaping and some nice actionscenes can be made 😊

  21. I don't mind the placement where the farm is. I mean sure it's close to the city but where I live, it the same thing. And I'm not against the idea of putting a big parking lot but, maybe you could instead, put a beachy building like the Boutique Hotel and add a little parking lot in front of that if you want.

  22. What about having the bowling alley next to the diner. Just a suggestion. Though I like the layout. The farm is in a strange area near the city.
