Spring Time Blessings in The Countryside | Turkeys, Garden Plans and Easy Dinner ☀️🦃🪴🥩

In this video, I’m sharing with you my plans for the upcoming spring season. Heart-warming spring time blessings in Spring 2023, is spending time in the Canadian countryside, enjoying the peace and quiet of slow living, making a delicious easy steak dinner (milk crusted!), AND dreaming up some garden plans.

It’s just a day in my life and I’ll be showing you all of the fun things that are happening in the countryside this week. From morning chores to a leisurely drive in the afternoon, to planting some pepper seeds and watching wild turkeys roam free! We will end the day with an easy relaxing dinner and then watch the nighttime sky and the stars above. xoxox

MILK CRUSTED STEAK RECIPE:
*Preheat broiler on full and put rack close to top (but not so close it will burn)
– Rub steaks with olive oil
– Make rub: 2 tbsp powdered milk, 1 tbsp all purpose flour, 1 tbsp steak spice, salt and pepper to taste
– Broil for 4 to 5 minutes a side (I broiled my steaks for 5 but they were too well done for my liking. Next time i will do 4)
– Let rest covered in foil for 5 to 10 minutes
– Sprinkle with crumbled blue cheese

GARLIC DRESSING RECIPE:
– 2 to 5 cloves minced (depends on how much you like garlic – I love it)
– 1 tsp Worcestershire
– Splash of hot sauce
– 1 tsp anchovy paste
– 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
– 4 to 6 tbsp olive oil
– Pepper

HAND SCRUB
– Brown Sugar
– Enough liquid coconut oil to saturate
– Cinnamon for fragrance or your choice of essential oils
– Keep covered or the brown sugar will harden
