Seed saving to ensure the garden keeps flowing with vegetables year after year

I do especially with new varieties. I see seed buying as an investment. Once the first fruit arrives your investment has already paid off.

TO SAVE TOMATO SEEDS
– Use a ripe fruit
– Soak it in a jar filled with water
– Cover with paper towel for 1-2 days
– Discard anything that floats
– Strain the seeds and rinse well
– Dry on top of a parchment paper
– Store in an envelope in a cool dry place

Tomato seeds can be viable up to 4-6 years if dried and stored properly

  1. I learned about micro dwarf tomatoes all because of this channel! I found a reputable company and have 5 different varieties I'm growing this year! You have helped me up my garden game 3 fold and I thank you guys! I'm so happy for the YouTube algorithm and to you both for sharing 😌🫢🏾

  2. I watched all your videos in one day and am so inspired to try hydroponics. Just moved to a rural area but the pest pressure was so bad last summer. Not to mention the deer took out my corn just before harvest. Hydroponics is looking like a good solution right now instead of plotting an outdoor garden.
