  1. Agree big changes ahead. I think they’ll call the stadium St James Park, powered by Saudi Aramco or something like that. I think they’ll go all out on making the building energy efficient (not just turning the lights off like Ashley) and the new training ground site. I definitely think they’ll change the badge and we’ll get a big kit manufacturer and main sponsor. They’ll also get sponsorship for training kits, back of shirts etc like other teams have done

  2. Look, if we want to progress and compete were gonna have to expect and accept change. Im all for it but just hope a stadium name change can keep st james park within it and we are not just swamped in only saudi sponsors

  3. Couldn't ask for any more. Its a ten year plan. And were going great guns. Cant wait to see us in 10 years time. I hope somones keped pictures of sjp and the training ground. For a before and after. Leave them to it. Up up and away 😊

  4. Im fine with going back to an old badge but a new simplified badge is a no from me

  5. Shame they would change some of the things that have been here for a long time, don't think its alot to ask keeping the badge stadium name and black and white stripes will not be the same and as great of a job they are doing helping the club do not agree with those particular things, money or not doesn't mean its a good idea. Saudi owns the club and i'm ok with that but don't feel ok with changing identity of some things just for money.

  6. I think our crest is old fashioned, so no problem there. Also adding a sponsor name to SJP, not an issue if it benefits our income. Our main strip should still have black and white stripes though.

  7. They should change our name to Sunderland so at least they’ll have a chance to win something 🤭 🤣🤣🤣

  8. Normally I don’t do well with change but I do like how they’re engaging with our fan’s,they stick by their word and they genuinely love us. They moved Shearer’s statue to where it should’ve been, they gave us back Shearer’s Bar,they’ve United back a lot of thing’s that Mike Ashley got rid of.

The more they engage with us,the better. They’ve done great so far,I’m excited to see what they have planned for our future.

  9. Hi Adam I don’t normally write too much on forums but I thought this might be the subject of a specific video for you – in the 21/22 season Newcastle are the 20th biggest income generators in European football. That sounds good but the reality is that they are £440 million BEHIND Man City who are number 1 in Europe and even £188 million BEHIND Arsenal who are in 10th place. They’re even behind West Ham, Leeds, Leicester and Everton apart from the obvious ones (Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd, Tottenham etc ). There’s a HUGE amount of money to make up if Newcastle are going to compete with the top 10 of Europe and although the PIF have huge resources, they can’t write out a blank cheque because what you are able to spend links directly with the revenue you are able to generate. The reality is this…Newcastle have to monetise every opportunity they can to make up the huge gap between where they are now and the top 10 in Europe. The more successful the team is, the more revenue they will generate from global sponsors, the more revenue they generate, the better players they can afford, the better players should keep the team successful and so on. I know that behind the scenes Newcastle have recruited very high quality commercial people to make this happen and they will HAVE to make decisions on shirt and stadium sponsorships among others.
I think the fans have to back them if they want to see even better players and hopefully even better results on the pitch. It’s a time of change for the club and everyone has to get behind them if they want to see the success they’ve waited for for so long.

  10. great vid. great points and food for thought. only way i cld imagine a club name change is something more USA/franchise like the newcastle magpies. imo thats nowt. its always Newcastle united to us. same as stadium. however with the drive for success comes sacrifice. that's a fact of life. Newcastle magpies in a black and white shirt winning the European cup? i can handle that…

  11. We have two choices as a fan base… Choose stagnation or move forwards with these drastic changes, I’ll take the latter.

    It’s time.

  12. I don't think the badge should change its our badge and changing it doesn't gain us anything. I wish we didn't have to change or alter the stadium name but if we are realistic to compete financially we are going to have to at some point

  13. if Saudia is to be our front shirt sponsers, maybe they could also have naming rights to the stadium, dunno about everyone else, but I would be ok with something like St James Saudia Park

  14. Should not change the badge. We have the best badge out there. Why change it for another boring bland badge. Our badge is unique and stands out!

  15. I don’t want the kit changed
I don’t want the badge changed
I’m ok with St. James Park powered by Aramco

Unfortunately, this is a part of change. I do believe they will try and keep good faith with the supporters because they have proven that so far with the changes they have made.

  16. As much as Amanda has the club dear to their hearts, at the end of the day it is a business and they will do everything possible to increase revenue and shareholder value. That comes hand in hand with on field performance so a pill all supporters will need to swallow and accept.

  17. Hi I think everything should stay the same Adam I'm a man city fan we changed our badge from the original one and ended going back to it.good luck tho to all newcastle as its my 2nd team.

  18. At the end of the day, the club aren’t making enough money to be able to compete at the highest level.
So we will have to embrace change, if we want to be successful.
I am not happy about St James Prk being given a new title, but at least money will be used on the club, not into Ashley’s back pocket, as previously. So I think we would accept a part name change of our stadium to include a sponsorship name.

  19. The badge as is a beauty it just needs to be simplified, enlarge the smaller details and remove the old scroll with the name, just use N.U.F.C underneath the badge
