Transplanting multiple times or potting up can be a real pain and can increase cost to entry in seed starting because you find yourself buying extra supplies that you may not need. Grab yourself a 16oz plastic cup, poke some holes and plant shallow. As the tomato plant grows, add more dirt and you will end up with a dense root system that will really help the plant before you put it out in the garden!
