Eat Your Lettuce And Have It Too In Your Edible Landscaping

Today I am harvesting some lettuce using the cut-and-come-again method in my edible landscaping. We are going to be needing to eat a lot of lettuce y’all.

15 Go ahead and use those extra lettuce plants in your containers if you have them it looks so pretty
40 I really needed to thin these out and I also needed a salad so…
20 I’m just taking a little from each plant and thinning these containers so the other plants like my pepper can see the sunlight
27 The cut and come again method just means to a little from each plant
25 This is a succession planting method. When the lettuce is done for the season the peppers, snapdragons, sweet alyssum will be all grown up
38 I’m not a big fan of container gardening but these are the reasons I am growing these citrus trees in containers
46 Now here is where I have the lettuce growing in the ground in my edible landscapes
00 What I’m doing with the lettuce that is going to seed
20 A little bit of lettuce hygiene here so that these plants remain healthy looking
11 Here’s the lettuce we used on our burgers the other night – Isn’t it pretty
20 Organic Lettuce in my apple guild – No spray – Like ever!
