Pot On Tomato Plants in 30 Seconds #8 #shorts



#shorts In this short video, you’ll learn how the process of potting on tomatoes including transplanting seedlings from small starter pots into larger containers filled with fresh potting soil which allows them to grow bigger before planting them in the ground or larger pots.

It is important to gently lift them out of their starter pots, place them at the same depth in the new pot, and water them regularly. The process helps ensure that the tomato plants grow strong and healthy.

If you have a module tray like this, use a spoon to help you take out each seedling and all its compost in one go, be careful not to damage the roots, instead of tipping the whole tray upside down. This is especially useful if you have a large tray with many modules. Avoid touching the stem of tomato plants and bury the stem deep to the first set of leaves. The stem will root giving you a more vigorous plant each time you repot.
