  1. My twin grandchildrens mom is going to start seeds for me and herself. She came over today. I provided the starter soil, seeds, worm castings, paper cups, and tags. That will help considerably with what's going on. The neighbor I have been feeding birds for came over yesterday with more feeders and thankfully food to put in them. 😊 He saw I moved another shepards hook closer to his kitchen window. I am glad he has been able to enjoy them so much. 😉 Another few weeks and hummingbirds will be back..🤩I am grateful for all I am blessed with.

  2. I'd love to see how you store your kitchen scraps. Do you collect them inside, or take them out every night? Wondering how you avoid fungus gnats/fruit flies inside!

  3. Robbie…I screwed up last summer. I used “less processed”Domino sugar for my hummingbird feeders. 😢 I learned from my local Audubon society that it can kill them. I should have followed your EXACT directions.

  4. It's alway fun and educational watching you plant in your gardens. Thank you. So, all my new tools have arrived!! A Flashfish power station, soldering iron, irrigation tubing etc. etc. I am ready for spring!! Ordered more seeds from Baker Creek Seed for some unusual heat resistant vegetables for Tucson, Arizona zone 9b. Thanks Robbie, stay dry. PS I've been incorporating my chicken 'gifts' mixed with pine shavings… are you composting with them at all? I tried it in pots under wild flower seeds and they grew immensely. So far no sign of burning or whatever the warnings are.

  5. Joined to add to the sugar bucks kitty – or the Kitty kitty, whichever!! Don't want Kitty to feel left out!

  6. Thank you for showing us your beautiful deck garden, and your new flowers are beautiful! How big or small of a pot is good for broccoli? I see yours is in a small pot, but wondering if the roots are going out into the tub it is sitting in? I am fixing to plant some as soon as the rain quits. Glad to see thar your plants are surviving all the rain you are getting 🙂❤🥦

  7. Hi 👋🏼 is it time for tomato seeds? Seems like forever I planted inside several weeks back ( shopping day at $ree) still waiting, lettuce came up and some peppers. Hi kitty! What a cutie ❤ Thank you

  8. Have you ever roasted radishes? It brings out the sweetness in them and they no longer have that sharp radish taste. I really like them mixed in with other root vegetables.

  9. I'm glad to hear you are also having stalled zucchini. . . me too. Thought it was something I did wrong. . . all my yellow squash started but not the zukes!

  10. I've about given up trying to do all I have planned for my gardens! And it looks like we're going to continue to have rain off and on. I'll just have to wait, and the weather's been so crazy I can't be worried about supposed good planting times for anything. In the meantime, I've really been enjoying your videos.

  11. Hi Robbie,
I never wanted to compost because I thought it would smell from the kitchen scraps! Do you leave your kitchen scraps outside and just use them when you need them?
I decided to start composting- at least keeping my kitchen scraps in an old coffee container and then tossing them in holey pots and tossing things on top. I'm in WI so right now it's not breaking down, but I'm hoping it will be good once the weather warms up and it gets watered.

  12. Hi Robbie. So glad to see 👀 you haven't washed or slid away. Been praying 🙏 for safety on ya'll. Love ❤️ your videos and lives ❤️ 💕 ♥️ 💗 💖 💓 ❤️ 💕 ♥️

  13. Awesome deck 👏
I'm so glad you're ok and safe! Your deck is so beautiful even with all the crazy weather!
I've started pull sone cold weather crops and now I have more good soil from the compost in place I did in the beginning of the season.
Zucchinis and cucumbers are too early for here to get started.
Thank you for the update of your deck Robbie ❣️Love your deck 😍 All seems doing great👏 Stay safe and take care 🌟❤️

  14. hi robbie 🤗
yes, the rain has kept me out of the garden too. hope to get im there tomorrow…i have a basket of peas to harvest. great garden tips and ideas. tfs

  15. I love your videos , it brings so much positivity! About zucchini, I think it will be small pot for them to grow in. I grow them in very big pots and they don't want give me much harvest even if I fertilize it a lot…

  16. Your plants are looking good, hopefully it stop raining for you.

  17. Robbie, you are so smart & inventive 🥰 Thank you so much for sharing what you have leaned & come up with, with us🥰🥰

  18. Hi Robbie 😊 my dinosaur kale is going to seed, do I have to pull it? Thank you in advance

  19. I’m experimenting with winter sowing this year. Too soon to see how it works out. Hopefully it will because I have limited space for inside seed starts in our cold February & early March weather. 25° low for tonight.
