  1. Linda, cover those pots with clear plastic dinner plates from the Dollar Store, they work great. I’m sorry, I meant bowls.

  2. Gorgeous ! I want to make one. I will shop Gor items I need tomorrow and send a photo once finish! Really loved the idea and yours look fabulous on your front door❤

  3. Love spring preparations!! And you always share such wonderful ideas to get us excited.😁 🌷☀️🪴

  4. Hi Linda. Buy you a clear glass saucer and glue it to the top see if you can found a small one it work and look great

  5. We’ll just call it a heritage carrot 🥕 they come in all different colors. It turned out super cute! You can cut the bottoms off of milk cartons and juice bottles to use a cheap ugly cloches. The porch room is going to be an enjoyable place to hang out. You’ve lived at Sugarwood for about 18 months now? You’ve made a lot of progress in a short time, it looks fantastic!

  6. What's the music playing while you work with the cloches? It's very soothing!

  7. Cute! An FYI green zip ties would work better, it would hold the shape and keep it intact.

  8. Thanks for sharing this tulip 🌷 carrot 🥕 wreath. I will be making it soon. Take care ♥️

  9. Your 🥕 is so cute on the door! I wouldn’t even mind that it wasn’t orange. I have several cloches, but I can’t ever think of something to put under them. I have a huge one made to put over an outside plant.

  10. Wow! Two videos of you is quite the Monday treat for me here in Australia😊

  11. Hi Linda, the tulip carrot/wreath is such a darling idea, I love it! I also like the topiaries out on the porch, on either side of the door, great idea! The cloches look so good, you are full of inspiration, thank you! Xoxo 🌷🌸

  12. Good Morning Linda from a cold damp UK🇬🇧

Have shared it with my daughter….my sister and my niece….all of whom eill be very interested indeed….😇

  13. I think 🤔 it would look beautiful and would give you more cabinet and counter space by where you have Willows dog dishes 🦮 If you would put the glass cabinets and counter with cabinets there to 😊

  14. I am so glad that l saved this video, to watch this morning. The news has been pretty grim , and it’s much nicer to start the week with a happy uplifting, peaceful video.
I hope your carrot hanging ushers in warmer spring weather after the nor’eastern we are experiencing tonight .
    Stay warm this week 🥕❄️🥕

  15. I'm sure you"re being inundated with "encounter" stories. Here's one more..
My aunt Kay shared a two family house with her sister Mary for many years. Mary's husband and mother-in-law both passed away while living in the house. Following Kay's death, my husband and I moved in, as newlyweds.
Initially, there were explainable incidents. Many times, the roller shades in our guest bedroom would raise up spontaneously. Probably due to an overwound spring, right? We would say "Hi Kay!" and chuckle. In the middle of the night, we were often awakened by the smell of cigarette smoke coming from the guest room. Kay was a heavy smoker and sat in that room to smoke. Perhaps, the humidity brought out the residual smell ???
Later, we had a friend spend the weekend in the guest room. Following his visit, he shared an "encounter" with us. He had awakened during the night to the sensation of someone sitting on the bed. He explained that he saw a shadowy figure dressed in a heavy dark coat and hat. "It" quickly disappeared. He was not frightened by the presence.
Many months later, another friend spent a weekend in the guest room but said nothing out of the ordinary.
However, the 2 friends were visiting us over the holidays. One started to recount his experience. The other chimed in, "Holy… the same exact thing happened to me!" Same weird sensation, shadowy figure, dark clothing. We all got goose bumps, had a few laughs, and another glass of wine.
Many months later, my friend and I were visiting my mother (who's sisters lived in the house). She was retelling the story. My mother stopped her, midsentence, and grabbed my hand. She went on to explain an eerily similar encounter. She had grown up in a multi-family home with 6 of her 8 siblings. Five girls occupied the cold attic space. My mother said over the years she had many
"encounters". Always the same. Being awakened in the night to the sensation of someone sitting on the bed. The figure was dressed in heavy dark clothing, etc. ????
After my husband and I moved out of the house, my sister-in-law moved in with a friend. They also had several "encounters". They repeatedly noticed something about a mirror hanging at the end of the stairway. Several times, they noticed the reflection of a dark figure walking up the stairs. Also, things would inexplicibly fall from bookcases,????
I'll leave it up to you…

  16. Omg I can’t wait to make a tulip carrot for our front door! So glad you shared this craft. ❤

On a side note, I love your fireplace, it’s beautiful! We are having a gas fireplace installed in our new 127 year old farm house in Maine and I’m wondering if you wouldn’t mind sharing the name, make & model of your fireplace? It’s just what I’m looking for! Thank you.❤

  17. Hi Linda , Longtime viewer . Love EVERY thing you do. Look forward to each of your videos. May I inquire where you purchased the knife rack on wall as well as the knives. It’s perfect ! Thankyou so much ❤

  18. Linda, the tulips are so pretty and love the texture of the greenery on the top! Love all the Spring colors especially on the door!

  19. I’m going to make your Carrot! It’s gorgeous and I’m glad you left it yellow, it’s gorgeous. The closed in porch is going to be so beautiful and cozy. Thank you for sharing as always I’m blown away that you take the time to share your lovely life with all of us and making me feel inspired.

  20. Hello Linda. The carrot turned out so cute and looks great on the door 😊. I love the idea of using the cloches and other glassware on the plants 👍🏻. Enjoy your evening. 🌱🪴

  21. I love the carrots door decor. I've been thinking of you today. Said a little prayer. Hope you're well and not stressing too much over the redo. You remind me of myself when I was younger.

  22. You are so amazing honestly… I love your videos and moreover your “kindred” personality… I love the way you decorate your house and honestly your home reminds me of a fairytale home 🧚‍♂️… your garden too… I swear I won’t be surprised if I actually see little fairies flying around in your beautiful garden one day!!! Keep doing what you’re doing and keep being you. You are a huge inspiration to me and many more! Sending lots of love and positive vibes your way ♥️ and happy spring!!! 🌸🌺

  23. GREAT video as usual Linda…..LOVE the location of your Wire Urn Stands on the Back Porch @ the Door Entrance – just the PERFECT spot – WOW! Have you thought about PAINTING your Hutch so it pops abit more from the new White Wall ??? All of a sudden I saw Mossy Green or BLACK (they say every room should have a touch of BLACK to rest the eye. I believe I heard that on Decor show on HGTV in the late 1990's)…..or even your Colonial Blue Gray color that you painted the Family Room Bookcases??! Just a thought! P.S. Enjoyed your notes from your Ghost Journal….definitely something going on at the prior home and outside at Sugar Maple….

  24. I just got around to watching your ghost video. I have so many of the same experiences in our old house. People who knew this house from years ago won't even come in. I used to be afraid to walk around at night, but now just accept they are here.
