  2. This will be my second year gardening…… I plan on growing a variety of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, eggplant along with few other veggies. I’ve started this week planting my seeds. I’m also starting a ton of different varieties of flowers to help cut back the cost of buying them! My oldest daughter is even wanting to try and has been with me this week to help and learn. Thank You for inspiring me!!

  3. I am excited 😊 to be growing yellow meat watermelon 🍉. First day of spring yes and my birthday

  4. I'm looking forward to hopefully having a "normal " summer and ican grow tomatoes that aren't cooked on the vine.

  5. I’m excited to grow more peas. The rain gave me a few but not as many as I’d hoped for. On the other hand, my lettuces and greens went crazy!
You look like you had a great trip. Thanks for sharing it. ❤

  6. Very excited for spring here in northern Kentucky. It has been too cold to really start planting outside but looks promising next week. I am hardening off my peas and ready to plant some spinach seeds in my smart pots. My pepper seedlings are looking really good and my Tiny Tims are full of blooms. Thank you for all your wonderful tips.

  7. Oh my word!!!! We have missed your videos!
    Feliz Cumpleanos, CG!! 🎉🎉🎉
I planted some conch peas…. First time ever…and I can’t wait to see if they turn out.
Also, looking forward to the watermelon sprouting!!!

  8. This is my 5th year gardening and I am redesigning my garden. Adding new, taller raised beds, gravel on the ground and an arched trellis for my raised beds. I am still going to have some smart pots and other containers as well. So this year I am excited to grow EVERYTHING! Lol

  9. This is my 1st time gardening in years and I only grew strawberries, tomatoes and zucchini. My goal is to grow a LARGE amount of cherry tomatoes so we can can sauce for the following year.

  10. I'm excited to grow more wild Violet sweet corn this year. Last year was my first year growing it and it was by far the best tasting corn I've ever had! Very pretty too.

  11. Hi Kim and Camera Man, I started my Spring seedlings and excited to be growing more varieties of tomatoes, Sun gold and Cherokee purple are 2 additions. 👍🏾

  12. I am excited to grow more varieties of tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers. Also green beans…I’ve never grown them before.

  13. I’m looking forward to a some beautiful and delicious tomatoes. I live in south louisiana and we had such a wet spring and summer last year. I grew some cherry tomatoes that did wonderful in pots but my in ground bed did not flourish due to so much heat and rain. I couldnt grow tomatoes, squash or cucumbers very well. I added 3 raised beds and hope this year is very productive. Thank you for the tips for soggy soil. I thought though if I put leaves over the bed, it would keep it even more wet.

  14. I'm excited that this is the first year to harvest my asparagus…3rd year! Also excited to grow CaliKim flower seed collection this year.

  15. Definitely excited to grow pickling cucumbers, and I’m going to try working in a variety of flowers in my garden area.

  16. Well now Kim, I sure would be very much looking forward to seeing how tall and pod rich I could grow a couple of Dorset Naga pepper plants this season. As for present concerns of too much rainfall, well for now I continue to wait on a couple feet of left over December snow to melt off the garden space! -Bob…

  17. I'm excited to grow anything that will grow. I had a really bad garden year last year and hoping this one will be better.

  18. I am excited about growing your Tiny Tim tomatoes for the first time, cilantro, basil, zinnias, and .peppers.

  19. I plant in raised beds, fabric pots, and Greenstalk towers. All have very good drainage, so I don't worry about the rain. No matter how much it pours, my plants won't be submerged in water. Rain is great for seed germination. I'm waiting for a few more marigolds to sprout, then I am going to move them into the greenhouse. That will free up space for another round of planting. Monday is planting day! I have 8 varities of squash, some winter, most summer, that I want to try, so there is 16 seedlings. Also I have seeds for 5 cucumber varieties. I'll be growing three new varieties, so there are twelve more plants giving me a total of … 28 to plant. In a few more weeks, when it is safe, I'll be moving my peppers, herbs, marigolds, and tomato transplants into the garden, and sowing seeds for Rattlesnake pole beans, Oriental Yard Long pole beans, Thumbilina (dwarf) zinnias, and shasta daiseys. I'll also plant a few odd Blue Boarge, Cosmos, and Compfrey. That should pretty much finish my spring garden. I planted rRusset and Red Pontiac potatoes two weeks ago, ,and am already seeding sprouts.

  20. Too much rain in spring AND in fall season was the reason I shifted from plastic containers to fabric pots a few years ago. They drain so much better! I also add perlite to the soil mix.

  21. 🌺Hi Kim & Jerry,
We're growing lots of onions, garlic, potatoes and our normal tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and greens. Trying to grow more Asian Veggies to make tsukemono (pickle veggie) and growing different things like-quinoa, sesame seeds, bay leaves, stevia, azuke beans, petite peas, garbanzo beans, satoimo (Japanese Taro) and gobo (burdock). Oh….I hope to get a zucchini this year🤞🤞still trying to get this squash to grow.
    🙃
