It looks great. What a lot you have done. Your nettle patch sounded like it was on the side of a road? Aren’t you afraid of all they treat the roads with?
👍🏾
Well Terry I have a handful of nettle then I'm going to try to juice I wonder if we ran them through a blender and turned them into a real thick juicy juice if that would be beneficial or just extra work
I just love your channel, been following for a while now.. So many great ideas so thanks for sharing😊..
I've just got my first ever plot and I'm so excited to get going.
By the looks of the straw coming out of the wildlife area under the the plant foods. It looks like you've had visitors?
I can't believe you got our names wrong. We have the most confused name on Yubtub!!🤣🤣
Things look great Terry!! Especially for how busy you've been ❄️🚚🦺
Cheers Jason and Colleen and Clive 🌱🤣🌱
We don't get nettles here on Vancouver island like I remember them in East Sussex when I was a child. Running with abandon through a bracken patch often lead to intense itching later on! I learned that mother nature often had a way of pairing nettles with an antidote to their sting nearby in the forest. Amazing!

Great updates from the plot, Terry. Nice review on the Hyecho 36v Cordless Grass Trimmer.
Happy gardening 🌱🌱
Great review on the grass trimmer Terry. I borrowed my son's strimmer last year and it was rubbish, with the line breaking every 30 seconds. Grudgingly, I bought my own. I also now have a rubbish strimmer that the line breaks every 30 seconds.
I'm going to try to find the time and motivation to gather nettles this year. I just noticed that they are a couple inches tall now
Love it 😍 fab vlog Terry I'm learning 🥰
Hi Terry the strimmer looks a good bit of kit. 👁️ can see you got some barn cloche’s by your nettle tee . Some nice compost from the wood chips . All the best Nic 👍
Quality and informative video as always 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Lovely tips Terry!
👍👍👍👍
Great review on the strimmer and great update on the plot. I am making my own feeds this year, I have ordered comfrey and can get plenty of nettles so hopefully next year I will save some money. Thanks Terry and take care.
You constantly amaze me with how you approach, I would never have had the noggin to actually prepare a patch so you can harvest Nettles later. Brilliant. Seriously Terry you are an inspiration to me. I need to up my game with the storage containers and storage area as I think your set up is perfect. I need to find some unscrupulous Cannabis grower dumps in my area though 🙂
Nice one Terry it always amazes me how much compost you've found great work mate
thats alot of free compost awesome 32,000
Nice one Terry, you keep showing all your free compost,, jealous muchas…😬🐮🐮🐮
Hi Terry you have done brilliantly in gathering up the compost a mighty saving there,
Good show tel, I'm transitioning away from the fetid stinking steeped nettle tea to a more concentrated nettle extract similar to your comfrey tube cept using a barrel with 2 bricks in the bottom with chicken wire mesh filter on top then adding tons of nettles with a rock on top, collecting the runoff same way you do with comfrey use it diluted 20:1 (also do comfrey this way too) was an easy way to use a cracked water butt but now I've come to prefer it because it dunt stink, feel I'm adding less anerobes to the soil, and I can store it in 4 pint milk bottles like my comfey extract, and urine, which looks neat on the shelf (lol) snow stopped play this end, bloody freezing and soppin wet everywhere!
You're very lucky to get all that free compost just lying around. Hope the weather starts to warm up for you .🦘🦘🙂🙂Cher
A very nice compact strimmer, ideal also for whizzing around the allotment paths and edges. How long will it run on a full charge? Have you done a full review of it previously, I’ve looked back a few episodes and can’t see anything…if so have you got a link please?
Cheers. Nigel👍🏻
I just ordered one of the strimmers, having also gone back down to see your review. It will make a very nice birthday present (to me) from the family. I know you work with machines, and with the channels focus on not spending unnecessarily on running the allotment, your recommendation is good enough for me. Now I just need to adopt a nettle patch. Thanks again for your videos, they have really spurned me on to reinvigorate my allotment.
Nice one Terry! Nettle tea for the plants, and nettle tea for yourself!
The strimmer looked good, your always preparing, your always finding more compost. It shocking how much they throw away. Ur get a great harvest of nettles
Great video Terry.
The strummer looks like a nice piece of kit.
Started on the homemade comfy fertiliser last year but after watching this I think I’ll be trying some nettle as well 👍
I actually will have time this year to make some nettle tea. What plants do you use it on the most Terry.
