  1. made me chuckle on what 'nutrients' might those Comfreys get ๐Ÿ˜‚

  2. Hi Terry I had 3 Broad beans survive in the greenhouse, they look like flowering soon. I was going to grow as green manure/ try and replant but I planted 6 potatoes around them instead.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

  3. Great update Terry, all looking good mate, loads of fantastic compost to go at there hard work really does pay off my friend ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. northeast is the best for the nest boxes a good way to put them up so cats don't get to them cement a scaffold bar in a biggish pot then place the nest box on that with a scaffold u bolt

  5. I have the birdhouses facing east and two I have facing west. The only one that they donโ€™t use is painted pink. Red,purple they use. They fight over the white one. Thanks for taking the time to show us what youโ€™re up too.

  6. I have one volunteer broad bean growing in the greenhouse which is flowing..๐Ÿ˜ฌ
I really really really hope you do a bit better with your long roots this year and beat the other guy that Keep winning
Are you still going to do the insert of the carpet rolls, I'm going to try and get hold of some…โ˜บ๏ธ
    Take care ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฎ

  7. If the wind comes from the west, as it does here, you face the bird box SE ๐Ÿ™Œ

  8. A nice video Terry.
I am looking very much forward to getting back outside.
I fractured my spine a couple months back so have been indoors a lot but hopefully will get outside again soon.
This video is really encouraging and good to watch.
    Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š

  9. My broadbeans also died under too much snow and I havenโ€™t redone them๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ. But itโ€™s time to get started on brassicas and flowers ๐Ÿ‘. My shallots were mush last year too so I have planted any out yet. Looking fab Terry ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช stay safe keep warm Ali, ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

  10. My next project is to find some free spent brewers grains for my compost and my worms. Have you ever tried using those, Terry? Any tips?
    ~ Sandra

  11. The 'comfrey nutrients' comment made me laugh. I lot of old beautiful churches here are bought up for homes with gardens beside the graveyards and Bruce gags. We can't drive by one without him commenting on how gross. ๐Ÿ˜‚. Nice update Terry

  12. It's not only you finding extra resources for free even your comfrey is doing it at the graveyard. Lol. Great plot tour and a good reminder of what I need to get done. Thanks Terry and take care

  13. Nice of them to leave me 20 lt pots but i dump them clay balls out ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. C'mon Terry, the only time you have your feet up is when you fell off the work truck ๐Ÿคฃ
If you are trying to be the best in the UK, spending a bit is probably nesseccary imo.
Good luck this week Terry !!โ„๏ธ
    Cheers Jason and Colleen ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฑ

  15. if your bocking 14 is growing next to the cemetary then the feed will have plenty of body in it. lol. you must have been waiting for this comment, terry………………………..brian

  16. Terry, I've just done the third dreaded manure run in the freezing cold. And yet I think how much it would cost me to buy the manure and that thought soothes my aching back. Take care. Nuka.

  17. Always stuns me how cheap the allotments are on the mainland, here in NI I pay ยฃ210 for a 88m/2 site. Horrific but my site is the only show in town. I get my money's worth but still.

  18. Good show Tel. Nest boxes need a clear flghtpath to the entrance, if not shaded by trees/structures during the day they're best placed facing between North & East to avoid strong sunlight and the wettest winds.

  19. Scary, who knows what the comfy bringing up from the graveyard scary lol. Plots looking good. I'm trying to sieve my soil for my seeds and to get my potato compost ready

  20. So great to follow your journey, over the years I have learned a lot and enjoyed the humour and engagement. I really think you should try to experiment with all your resources to develop the 'ideal' seed compost – I mean you have lots of leaf mould, coir etc etc and that is not so far from 'nutrient scarce' but peat-like (the leaf mould) ingredients! Instead of 'John Innes', we could have 'Terry's' !

  21. Terry you really are a machine …. but you have been teasing us with hints at retirement for ages.
