#plantfailfriday there have been many changes in my life over the past month and a half. In terms of plant parenthood, I knew there would be much loss of plants as I simply would not have been able to dedicate the time and attention they needed and I didn’t want to burden others.

In an effort to save my original Pilea peperomioides plant (just over 2 years old), I cut the main stem and stuck it into a bottle around the beginning of July. Today, I found it rooted but hanging on for dear life. I’ll pot it up once I’m more settled in and see how it goes. 📷2️⃣ The stump has grown a new stem and daughters 5 and 6 are doing fine.

Daughters 1 to 4 are thriving under the care of my friend @houseplantgal who reports that I now have over a dozen grand-pilea-children. It’s not a burden for her! ~
