After purchasing our new home, I really wanted to have a garden. I started to listen to the podcast Growing Joy with Maria and I love it! Self care through plant care is real! If you are a new parent or just looking for some chill gardening videos, you are in the right place! I think I am going to take my channel in a new direction. Here we go!

For the garden, First thing I did was go to the dollar store to get containers. After that, I got two trellises for the cucumbers and luffas.
This is my first time with a garden, and I thought container gardening would work best since I don’t have any real ground to work with.
I planted Red Potatoes a few weeks ago. They sprouted on my counter so I planted them! I also planted carrots from seed last week.
Today, I planted Fresno Chili Peppers, Sweet Basil, Luffa, Mint, Sweet Corn, Butter Crunch Lettuce, Romaine Lettuce, and Strawberries.
In two weeks I will plant beets, tomatoes and cucumbers.
Am I doing too much for my first garden? Probably!
