  1. Well it’s good to know I started 40 tomato plants and everything else too early for my state (although people say to) lol. Hopefully I get away with it

  2. i like the Gardening channel.for me it's very inspiring in gardening, especially when the harvest comes it feels like i'm also harvesting

  3. Thanks for talking about delayed transplants being potentially better. I waited until the last day of the window to plant my seeds. I probably should have waited longer but was getting harassed by neighbors and the hubby to get it done. Hopefully I won’t have to keep potting up like I did last year lol.

  4. How about cold crops like broccoli? Its such a fine line when to start from seed. We go from cool to potentially 90 degrees and its all done. We try to start early and have nice size plants in very early spring, and protect them until they are solid.

  5. Amazing! Such good advice, thank you. How much land is your yard, it looks huge!

  6. Hey James, I've read that hazelnuts need to be pruned occasionally, but I've never seen any guides on pruning hazelnuts. If you know anything about it, it might make a good video.

  7. I've found the same when using farmers almanac I need to start peppers and tomatoes 2 weeks later than the latest plant date same for most things

  8. If there root bound cant you just breake up the root ball some to get it to start spreading outwards vs just plopping it in the ground all twisted up?

  9. Thank you for your great tips! good to see tuck doing well!❤️ Got my seedlings waiting indoors for that last frost date to clear in the next 2 weeks 🤞 🇬🇧 also have some apple trees to get in you've definitely inspired me to get my mini food forest going!

  10. New gardener and new subscriber here. Just up the road a ways in CT. Love your videos. Helping me out for sure. Will be starting in new raised beds this year. Square foot method for the most part. I’ll be ordering my Team Grow shirt soon! Keep up the great work. Love your garden area.

  11. Love your videos always get something out of them God bless you and yours and little tuck.

  12. Yep I followed the almanac and just started moving my sprouts from their cococoir pellets into peat pots. Sigh….
Also on those nice days I took off the covers from over the kale. I get too excited to get it going. Sigh…
Good to see your video for advice on what I need to do now.
    😊

  13. Great video. I love little Truck. He is so so cute chewing on his carrot. So happy he found him some snacks
