Thank you Autumn. This is practically my hometown I grew up in- I believe AP said he is also from there. The gradient on that hill the truck was going up is steep. Our car used to begin to roll back when you started to move at that light! Actually 2 lights you have to stop at in short succession. You never know what can be on a truck. There can be pedestrians in that area too.

This kind of thing happens more often than most people realize. That is why they have a phone number on the signs so the drivers can call and try and get the train to stop before the vehicle gets struck. It is something you learn during truck driver training.

my trucker son said the driver might not have shifted properly and got stuck. my son when in truck training school said he was tought to NOT shift while going over the rails.
This similar to one 2 weeks ago I believe Train vs Semi with 144 ft concrete beam. That was bad I think only driver died.
