  1. Was the front/back yard landscape design for the new cottage house shown on paper in a video? If so which one?

  2. Love the floral arrangements.
You have quite a following here in Australia. We often discuss your journey. Stewart may become a gardener one day.

  3. Dear Linda, I can totally see your vision! I adore the idea of a well positioned front yard sitting space for leisurely chit-chat with hubby, friends and/or neighbors. Multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy everyday living sounds just wonderful! Love the process and can't wait to see the finished design.

  4. I so enjoyed this video! I love the books on the TV table. The gallery wall is spectacular. All your arrangements are glorious.

  5. Linda, I would keep the patio chairs. The black looks great with your home. I guess if you wanted some added color, there are some beautiful outdoor pillows that could be added. The patio will be lovely!

  6. Your collage wall is fabulous! The baskets, hats, and photos really make it personal and interesting.

  7. I love Trader Joe’s but have to drive at least 30 minutes to the north side of Indianapolis to find one. There flower choices and prices are so fun!

  8. My vote for your patio furniture
    is black🙂
I live in a small town that has many homes with porches and many enjoy the neighborhood walkers and joggers. I’m enjoying your planning and inspiration for your home!

  9. I always love black and grey, but everything doesn't always have to be cohesive. I love a pop of color. Just an idea, paint the front door and the chairs a color. Doesn't have to be lime green, although I personally love that, but any contrasting color would be great. You can always change it. I'm a master with a can of spray paint! Love your style and the ideas for your new home.

  10. Hi Linda. Love the gallery wall and I’m a huge fan. Have enjoyed watching your move! Why don’t you move the basket that you think is too small, under the picture the brown hat is touching. And hang the hat where the basket was

  11. I absolutely love those iron chairs. We live in what is called a little Victorian cottage with a wrap around porch and we wit out there a big portion of the time, nice to see and talk to people walking by, watch kids learn to ride bikes and read or knit.

  12. I wanted to tell you how much I love your videos . I just found you last month and have went back and watched several. In this video I want to thank you for introducing us to a Eva Cassidy’s music. I had never heard of her. I just watched several of her videos. She was amazing. So sad she died so young. And I’m sitting here thinking in 1996 I myself turned 30. Just a few years younger than her. It just breaks my house ❤

  13. I love the chairs black, but when you brought up they gray, I'm thinking that will work too. Depends on what color of cushions you get.

  14. First of all, I’m so enamored with the cottage house and the direction you’re taking with the landscape! In this day and age of our society, we see more Americans overly busy and not engaging with their neighbors and developing wonderful relationships. I applaud your decision to create your front yard patio! The umbrella is VERY European and will be a welcomed addition for your neighborhood and may start an Oklahoma trend! Let’s hope so! Love what you’re doing! So much fun too!, 🌷🌷🌷

  15. Love love love Stewart talking to you more. It’s like a partner interacting and there is a back and forth instead of a monologue. You are tremendous and he just adds to the fun.

  16. I can't wait for the finished patio! I would leave the chairs black because they match the rail and roof. The window box will add more charm to your cottage. Go with your vision and make adjustments as needed. The gallery wall looks great but I still don't like the TV location. Sorry to bring it up again. Just giving my honest opinion. It's almost an eye sore when looking at the beautiful wall.

  17. I love the chairs black to tie in with your shutters. Once the planting is complete and the cushions are added I think they’re perfect!

  18. Granite gray for the
Chairs would soften the space. ( This color would be awesome for all your front yard furniture )

  19. Linda, thank you for sharing your landscaping and interior design process. I cannot wait to see the completed front patio. I vote to leave the chairs as they are. Didn't you have them powder coated a few years ago? Plus, those chairs are comfortable! Love the gallery wall! Have you considered a custom table cover on that rectangular table? Simple cover with a pleat on the corners, a print or solid fabric with a pretty trim, maybe a glass top to protect the fabric. A photo would have been easier to explain. 🤣 I can't wait to see the window box…one thing I voted to repeat from your former house. Now just missing beveled French doors.

  20. Linda I'm getting some British Colonial style vibes in that beautiful room! You already have many of the
components – leather, textiles, plants, maps, books, hats, etc. I would love to see you go more that direction
in that room! I love the gallery wall! Great job!

  21. Linda – love your channel! I learn so much! I would keep the chairs metal black as it compliments the rail and the door in the front. I would add cushions or cushion covers that are gray that you have in paint if you want to pull it together or I would pick an accent color to pull through with the cushions once all is completely built! Great projects and ideas!!!

  22. I think the windowbox will be so gorgeous! Love all your front yard ideas. Can't wait to see it all come together. And I'm so inspired to start working in my own yard, however, that will be awhile as it's been snowing here in Spokane for several days now.

  23. I bet the neighbors LOVE you!!! God places you there for a reason! Your journey is fun to follow!😇😇😇

  24. I have similar black chairs. I dry brushed verdigris over the black which softened the black. Love them!

  25. Love your chairs! Love your house! Love your passion to be neighborly! Love your English style! Love the wall! Love everything you do! Everything is just lovely!!
Carry on Linda! Exciting to see you design!!👍🌿👒🧤(Listen to Cassidy’s music all the time, such an amazing voice!)

  26. I like the metal chairs. A friend has similar ones, and they are incredibly comfortable. I also liked the pic of an umbrella you showed in the English garden. As for the color…..grey or black, not white or another color, I don't think. I think black is just classic and nearly always a winner.

  27. Love the gallery wall! Love the branches, I have a large. Vase with curly willow branches on g’mom’s sideboard thinking of using some faux forsythia for a pop of spring, Faux, tacky or not? I’m the only one that will see it. What’s your opinion?

  28. I love the idea of a front yard patio. When you are in a nice friendly neighborhood, why hide out in the back yard. It is inspiring me to do something here at my house. Especially, when you are older and can become isolated for one reason or another. Great idea!!

  29. Loving the gallery wall. I just realized that I have a vertical space that I can use for all the beloved smaller items that I displayed in my apt in NY. I hadn't found a home for them yet in my Pennsylvania home. Thank again for the inspiration and the spark, Linda! Keep up your beautiful work!

  30. I love Eva Cassidy! Her Songbird album is my favorite. Sting never listened to other artists cover his songs but when Eva did Fields of Gold, he was encouraged to listen to it. When he did, it brought tears and he said, “that’s the way it should have been done”. ♥️🎶

  31. Everyone likes to have an opinion but, at the end of the day, it's your home to live in as you wish. There is only one way to find out if something will work, and that is to try it. You shouldn't have to be justifying everything you do. I'm sure you will enjoy whatever you do. Hi from Australia

  32. Having a sleepless night and I am so happy to have something enjoyable to watch!! Love seeing how your new home is evolving!

  33. Good morning Linda, love the plans for the front "sitting area" reminds me of my grandparents neighborhoods. You will love it. My 2 thoughts today are: the closet in the front, I would watch what can be seen from the outside. IE tall boxes, shelving units etc. you have such a beautiful window to let all the light into the area. Just a thought.
My second thought is to the left of the house have you thought of putting a narrow wooden storage shed? Some of the new garden sheds are so beautiful and do not look like a shed at all. But it might not hold as much as you would want. Just a thought.
Love how your gallery wall turned out. Before you fill the new frame top left, had you thought of using non glare glass? I did it once for a grouping of an old map and post cards of our town I had on the wall. What a difference and now I will always do that when I have the choice. You enjoy the picture so very much more. Just a thought.
Thank you for taking us on your journey and your thoughts as to why you do certain things.
Love your orchids and YES to an umbrella out front. Thank you.
