This Miracle Trick STOPS LATE FREEZE Damage! This Is HUGE!

In this video, I share a miracle trick that stops late freeze damage! Late freeze damage can cause enormous crop losses in the agricultural industry and can devastate fruit tree harvests. Until now, all you could do was chalk it up to a “bad year.” I developed a revolutionary method to stop late freeze and late frost damage that really works!

This life changing procedure keeps deciduous fruit trees locked into dormancy, preventing early bud break and early flowering before frosts and freezes stop. This increases the cold hardiness of the fruit trees and saves flowers from being destroyed by cold weather, maximizing harvests. I used my fig trees as guinea pigs for this controlled experiment, because late freeze damage on fig trees is a serious problem, and the results are incredible! This procedure not only protected my fig trees through 16°F (-9°C) freezes without damage, but it successfully delayed bud break by weeks, maybe even months! This is huge and changes EVERYTHING!

  2. I have had my fig trees in a building with windows over winter. They have broken dormancy. I am also in NC. I do have a building without windows, I am thinking that may have been a better choice, based on your experiment. How low will they be okay after budding? They are new trees from cutting from last year, and I don't want to lose them! Should I move them to the other building til all danger is over?

  3. If you only have a few plants in pots, I move mine inside/under some of my large shrubs. Protects them from frost and delays the budding as well.

  4. Thanks for the info. It's going to be in the 30s at night this week in Raleigh and my fruit trees are already blooming.

  5. Great Idea. *Some combo w/ mylarized bubble wrap & shade cloth might fix the minor issues. Air circulation necessary. Maybe near base of plants close to house? 🍒

  6. It’s been a worry even here in WI. We had crazy warm January and February with rain. Accuweather said east coast getting spring 3 weeks early. It’s also causing problems for those of us that winter sow in containers. Have to keep them in the shade.
It appears covers of all sorts are becoming a necessity with our ever changing weather.

  7. love the video! im in NC, (mebane) too and ive got plum trees that have already bloomed(started last week in feb) and starting to fall. i read that covering up trees would not help and may damage(wind) tree. YOU make a whole lot of SENCE. my concern is if i put shade cloth on 10 ft tree could it damage tree. and how late can i wait to put cloth over trees to prevent blooming? i also see your shade cloth is 40%. should i get 70% shade. thanks

  8. also just read that white shade cloth reflects light and heat while black shade cloth only reflects light

  9. A little late there, buddy. You posted this two days ago. My fig has been in bud with small leaves for over a week. I’m screwed.
Edit: I’m just north of you in Beaufort.

  10. Great experiment! How to delay tree budding 😊👍 it was awesome
But you couldn't slow down the Dale Express 🐕🐕🐕🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜
Love to see him running free! He's fast!!
Thanks for your hard work and his cuteness😉🪴🌻🦋🐕

  11. Interesting observations. Though I think it's mostly the light reduction that helps because the black fabric should heat up by the sun, increasing the air temperature so close to the figs during the day and insulating during the night. It seems to be confirmed by the potted figs against the house because the shade cloth was not over the figs to the ground? Those in the back all budded out and had more light.

  12. I’m in 8b. Everything is budding and or blooming here. It’s going to get cooler again but will everything be ok if it stays above freezing?
