Homesteads Aren't Built in a Day | 2023 Garden Plans

Hey folks!

As the saying goes, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and my garden plans have changed over the past few weeks (as it usually goes on a homestead.) If ya’ll have been following along for awhile, you know my plans for this HUGE 2023 gardening year, and many changes have been made since the fall garden in 2022.

I still plan to grow MORE food than ever before, and expand our livestock operation as well. But you should never be stressed to get it all done quicker than you can handle it!

  1. Ohh nice. I finally got my beds built, can't wait to plant them. And I love watching what your planting because we're in similar climates

  2. I started my onion seeds indoors last year and transplanted them out and those did better than the ones I bought as mini bulb starts! After I transplanted them, it got cold. They had a little bit of damage on their growing ends, but I clipped that off and they all recovered nicely. Did not have any bolt, but about half the ones I grew from starts that I purchased did bolt.

  3. Congrets on the 500 subs!
You are doing great, good luck from the cold and wet north of the netherlands
