Why leaves of wheat crop turning yellow || Crop Reformer



Weather conditions have been very favorable during the month of January for proper growth and development of current season wheat crop 2022-23. We have analyzed weather data of previous 45 years and concluded that temperature limits of maxima in the month of February are going 2-3 centigrade higher than its average trend. Rainfall has also been recorded lesser than actual trends of 45 years. This thing has escaped wheat crop from rust disease and aphid insect. Even then, if increase in temperature and limitation of rain showers remained persistent as going upward, these trends may create an alarming situation during pollination, grain filling and maturity stages of wheat crop. Wheat crop may be driven to forced maturity which may result into shriveled grains and yield lesser than the expectations. Still there is ample time to pray our merciful Allah Tala for the favorability of climatic conditions of March and April.
Weather is one of the main factors that determine the overall growth and production of a crop. Each stage of wheat crop requires a different suitable temperature to complete growth stages of its life cycle. Temperature is an essential parameter of the production technology of crops.
