  1. Impressive. Just started watching but getting a glimpse of the huge vegetable plot is inspiring.

  2. Growing Back to Eden is the name of another youtuber that is down near you. I just found him last night when Justin Rhodes did a premiere featuring this guys channel. You may already know him, but he is a Washington transplant and I really think you could teach him a bit about growing in our climate. 🦩🦩🦩 Always enjoy watching your videos!❤❤ BTW, wear your sunscreen!!! (Mama bear talking here)😃👍🙏

  3. Is now a good time to plant onion starts? I saw the onion starts at my Home Depot, but thought it might be too late for FL 😕

  4. If you have tons to tomatoes, you could always try a compact Florida weave trellis. I plant so many seeds thinking they won't germinate well, but they always do so I feel bad for throwing extra plants out. I've started a fl weave for the bonus plants. Not the prettiest thing but I just can't let them die lol

  5. Unfortunately I had knee surgery on the 2nd so I am feeling overwhelmed and way behind. However, l am doing like you and letting it go! Compounded by this being the dry season, i may just move on to planning summer. I will be able to harvest beans, carrots, celery, tomatoes, spinach, lettuce and strawberries. Relieved that I am not alone. Happy Spring🌻🌺

  6. The wide space at the bottom of you trellis looks like a good place to put in a cord and show the viewers a "Florida Weave". The tomatoes won't be too heavy and unruly at that point but may need a little help making up to the wire. Glad to see I'm not the only one that has more ambition than time.
    Your Tampa neighbor,
    Dano

  7. I'm planting determinate tomatoes this year…. I'm putting them out this week. My peppers, collards and kale have been out for a few weeks

  8. I’m thinking David the Good would tell you to put those onions anywhere you could plant them , between other plants, on the edges. I have no experience but watching him it seems you can pretty much just slap something in and it’ll do OK. Although we’re in Florida now and he’s not. He has good soil because he put all kinds of good things in it. I think you’ll find out the right answer

  9. It's Fredda and I saw your question. I don't think I gave you any Tiny Tim. It's probably on the other side of the tag. Tiny Tim only grow about 2 ft tall. The leaves are dark dark green and the leaves are compacted wavy leaves. The flowers you showed in the video up-close are definitely indeterminate. Ichaban is another type of purple eggplant. The plant is probably large enough to tell the difference. If it's flowering it's a lavender flower and if it's not, the eggplant plant doesn't have anywhere near the root hairs on the stem. The red onion starts I gave you are definitely red creole, a spicy red that stores well. Call me if you have any more questions. I gave you my phone # in an email. Check the comment section of the last video you put out for the types of veggie plants I gave you.

  10. Oh yeah, I forgot… The indeterminate tomatoes you may have gotten from me are either indigo, yellow pear or orange current (I forgot about the orange current when you were here) . The only determinate you may have gotten is a weird looking roma. That bigger rounder tomato you saw in my driveway is a roma. I think I bought a hybrid and saved seeds not understanding hybrids at the time. But, I've grown these saved seeds before and they are just like a roma with a different shape. But, like I said in the next message, I don't think I gave you any Tiny Tim''s.

  11. You do a fine job. Do yourself a kindness and stop making lists: they only burden you. If you let a true friend know of all the work you were planning on doing, they would have made the time to help: don't be afraid to ask for help.

  12. For anyone on the fence about getting Jackie's planner, don't hesitate. It's FANTASTIC!! It will walk you through the entire thought process of thinking through the organization of your garden and then give you a tracking system that can be literally be used every day. Using it, has cut off at least an hour a day of my "AHHHH!…oh my God, what am I going to do today!" (no exaggeration)…. I promise you, it is worth every penny!

  13. I’m so excited I just got my husband to print off your seasonal gardening guide for free. Even in this little pamphlet it is so full of information. Thank you both, your husband and you for working so hard on this. Maybe I won’t miss another season waiting for the stores to sell me seeds for the wrong season or area.

  14. I love that feeling when I get all my things done on my list. I'm excited, looks like warmer weather from now, I hope anyway. I am tired of worrying about frosts. You got a lot done in three hours! Looking forward to the bonus videos!!

  15. Thanks for taking us along I always have a list marking off done items a great way to feel accomplishment. You go girl on those t-post!

  16. There is a "Rosie the Riveter" t-shirt in the making at 9:45 – ish. "RooooAAAAR! Wild Floridian: You Can Do It!"
You go, girl! Wear a hat, too, when not filming. Sun is hot already.
Plant all the onions, thin/harvest when the greens come back up, leaving the strongest to bulb, and use the thinning as green onion substitute. Between the lettuce is a good place, too, cause the lettuce will bolt long before the onions need to bulb.

  17. Thanks for taking us on your journey, Jacqueline. I am resigned to the fact that I will be a grow bag 🎒 and plant 🪴 pot 👩‍🌾Gardener. I will make myself happy with doing that. ☺ I have a long laundry list of seedlings and germinating plants to keep me busy. Pace yourself and happy planning and planting.

  18. I may have to have a lemonade stand with tomatoes. Do you think that will work? Germination rates were pretty darn good this year! I even had my pepper seeds germinate and those are never very successful for me! I am thinking plant swaps and garden expansion at this point…

  19. If I was lucky enough to have you as a neighbor, I’d help with projects!! 😊You’re content is always helpful and amazing!! 💚🌱

  20. 18:57 you calling out the Robin just made it click for me.

I am from Alberta Canada and love watching your videos. We’re still frozen solid at the moment; most of our bird migrate down south. It’s so nice so see people planting natives to help and attract wildlife.
Thank you for what you do 😊

  21. Great job. You inspired me to get out and set up two large 100 Gal fabric beds in a sunny area. I will plant them up as soon as this rain ends this weekend with doing onions, radishes, Bok Choi & lettuce.

  22. You could let a zip tie be your buddy and temporarily use easy zip-ties then but in your wire fasteners while it’s being held in place by the zip- ties
