  1. We are located in Southwest Tn. We are very cold and rainy too. Usually I am heading off my seedlings by March. Thanks for all of your tips! Rhonda

  2. I've been doing that for a while now. In Texas we alwas have a drought. I'm hoping to set up a water collection setup soon because the cost of water is going up.

  3. Hi. MS. Robbie. I'm starting out. If you wouldn't mind when you have a moment, to suggest which of your videos you recommend for starting out. Do you recommend purchase woodchips? Thanks so much for your hard work. You are such a blessing,

  4. Wow!  Brilliant!  My baskets don't fit in some of my planters and I never thought of trimming the base!  Thanks for another great video/tip!

  5. My deck gets very hot, it feels like it 20o degrees warmer on my deck then on the grounds of the condo my deck is 14x by12ft

  6. To cover the holes in that planter I would put a small piece of fly screen or brocken terracotta pot shards over the holes, as paper will not last long, after wetting the paper it will disolve really quickly.

  7. Hey Robbie, where canI get Sprouting Broccoli, Walking Onions, Tree Collards and some of the different kinds of Mint that you have? Thank you for sharing.

  8. Aren't you concerned about the coyotes grabbing one of your dogs? I'm in Southern California also and it's becoming a big problem here Palm Beach, Torrance, Palos Verdes. Lots of pets are disappearing cats and dogs alike.

  9. It was in the 80s here yesterday (NC zone 8) which is warmer than March normally is. 72 is the high for today then in the 30s tomorrow night. The weather really has been strange lately. Hopefully this is the last week of cold for us both and we can get to planting warm weather veggies very soon. 🙂

  10. Look at all of those goodies growing in your yard! Out in front of my house, I have an 8+ foot tall snowbank, so I think it might be a wee bit before I get to start my planting in Maine. Sigh. I need a greenhouse!

  11. brilliant idea to use the wire trash cans, I already have several… hey ya'll from Houston Texas!

  12. I absolutely loved this video. You covered so many different topics that are of interest to me. Your pot idea for the cress is brilliant. I am a huge weather watcher, so I appreciate your views on the changes you are witnessing in your area. The pest information was very helpful and I love the hummingbird update. Thanks for a fulsome report.

  13. The onions are looking so good! Lol I totally love the great tip about cutting the rim off the wire basket. Yes the rain has done some damage to my garden , but most plants are ok 😊

  14. When it gets cold I use old umbrellas and cover whatever needs it, my yard looks pretty funny but it works

  15. How. I am new to your channel. You mentioned composting in place. Can you do a video on that? Love the hummingbirds in your property.

  16. Hello Robbie, thanks for the simple sharing of your experiences. I do not understand everything but the images speak to me a lot. I don't speak English. I learn a lot from your videos. I am from Reunion Island in the Plains. It rains often and cultivating in containers is a solution for me. Nice day.

  17. You have very good ideas…simple, yet clever. I enjoy your videos. Thank you!
