►Did you know you can easily grow a whole bunch of passion fruits from a store bought passionfruit?! You can just plant a few seeds you don’t need to use the whole fruit! â–ºHow to grow a passionfruit from store bought fruit:
🌱 Choose one that is delicious (we don’t want to grow yuck ones)
🌱 Rinse off the flesh or keep in a jar of water overnight to help remove the flesh.
🌱 Plant in quality compost soil
🌱 Keep moist
🌱 Keep warm
🌱 Seeds should sprout in 2-3 weeks
🌱 Pot up once they have 4-5 leaves
► Passionfruit like LOTS of sun at least 6-8 hours and plenty of food (be generous with the compost). Passionfruit grow really well from seed and are self pollinating. Passionfruit vines only last about 6-7 years so it’s a good idea to have multiple plants on the go to replace older ones 🌱
