  1. Thanks for sharing the new landscape process! It’s exciting to watch and I’m very happy for you!!

  2. Becky…..I'm sitting here screaming at your video…."NO!!!!……KEEP that WOOD!; NO!!!!……KEEP those stone blocks and re-purpose them!! Noooooo!!…..don't let them take that stuff!!". LOLOL I wished that I lived near you……I can re-use that wood, and those stone blocks!! I FIND (re) uses for most things. Do you know how much a pallet of those stone blocks (pallet = 144 blocks) sell for at Home Depot?? Just about A THOUSAND DOLLARS!! That's crazy that you're not keeping stuff to find a use for, elsewhere.

  3. You should turn the front and back of the house into an 'Edible Landscape''. There are SO many flowers and herbs you could grow, that are 'permanent'…..but you'd be able to eat them/cook with them/make teas with them/and for medicinal purposes. Make every (vegetation) space functional, and not just 'something pretty to look at'.

  4. Love all that’s happening!! So excited for you Becky! About those cookies, which look delicious:), when mine have stayed puffed and not spread, I flatten the air out of them when they come out of the oven with the bottom of a glass gently. It works!
So looking forward to what seeds you ordered! This is so amazing!

  5. Looking good!
    Coming together nicely!
Cant wait to see it come together more!

  6. Every time you say "it's pouring" and it isn't, cracks me up. Drizzle and sprinkle arent the same as "pouring" lol cracks me up

  7. Maybe its just me but it seems these videos are starting to become uninteresting. Maybe its the construction stuff lately. Its like anything and everything being recorded no matter what it is just to have a video up. You can only watch people paint and construction videos that all look the exact same, so many times. Cooking, canning and actually gardening are so much more interesting than watching the yard get tore up.

  8. I’m so glad that you’re giving yourself a break when it comes to projects having a perfect home is great but unrealistic they are always a work in progress. It’s nice for your friends and family to see that you are comfortable enough to share your journey w the house and garden it decreases the expectations when you come to visit them that everything doesn’t need to be perfect.
Soon you’ll have a toddler and they are like a whirling dervish making messes in there wake so get ready for the new adventure.💞

  9. Such an exciting time for you guys n you chickens🤣🤣 they are taking full advantage of all that dirt…who needs landscapers when u have chickens 🤣🤣

  10. Also, take into account of needing to go from the house to the coop to grab eggs during all sorts of weather when you’re thinking about placement of the chicken run.

  11. During spring my garden had lots of lavender and other things all in flower, which was beautiful. But as summer come on the flowering plants all finished and that meant no bees, no bees no pollination 😢because of that my garden over summer was not as good as I was hoping for. So my idea for next year’s garden is I am getting bees, and I also will be having flowers to invite the pollinators to the vegetable flowers. Currently planning on my autumn garden and then leading to the winter garden.

  12. Can’t wait!!! Love the progress!! 😎😎🥰 🪴🪴🪴🥔🍠🥕🥬🥦🍅🍆🫑🧅🧄🌶️🍓🥚🐓🐓

  13. We have similar personalities Becky…I feed all the contracted help too! Not many people would do that. You have such a generous and thoughtful heart!

  14. My husband is a highway contractor and I have always enjoyed seeing before and after the grading. A good operator can make such a difference. Know u r really going to enjoy all ur new areas.

  15. My 2 kids and I stole my husbands flip flops so many times, that he bought us all ugly matching Walmart flip flops for home! 😂

  16. So exciting to watch it all be built through these videos. One day hopefully in the near future we will be building our forever house and big garden/ orchard. Thanks for sharing with us all! If you don’t mind me asking how much is this project estimated at?

  17. Thank you for showing us your process of buliding your garden. We are also putting in a garden this year after many years. Please show every little detail aboyr your soil and building your beds. I have learned so much from you already. Have a beautiful day!

  18. I would agree with putting chickens near the garden that is what happens in permaculture and is considered closing a loop.

  19. You have some wonderful ideas for your landscaping project.
Make sure that your yard is pitched so that the water drains away from your home.

  20. Girl. I love my daughter to the moon and back, but I REALLY don't like when my shoes are used by her… or anyone but me. Just buy yourself some bigger, economical shoes for running outside! Josh will appreciate it. Lol

  21. Have you heard about Purina chicken feed preventing chickens from laying eggs? What do you feed your chickens? Thank you I just love your channel

  22. This guys had the best help digging Lol… Without those hens they could of not done it any better. I just love seen free range chickens wonder around and do their thing.

  23. Hi Becky, Great to see things are really moving along with your yard project. About the cookies… you said they didn’t flatten and looked weird. I remember when you made the dough and you were in a hurry and you said you didn’t have time so you skipped letting the dough rest in the fridge for half an hour. I don’t know much about cooking or baking but would that be the reason those cookies turned out weird and not flat. They look like little heaps of yummy so maybe next time you can see if that was the reason. Anyway just wondered. Much love and best wishes to you, Josh and baby Acre. Hi to your Mum and Dad and Josh’s parents too. Heaps of hugs from Australia. ❤️❤️🐨❤️❤️👶😘

  24. Would you please do a budget for a project like this? I know money is super difficult to talk about but I would love to hear how you budget for large projects and how much you save back before beginning to save for something like this!

  25. Lol! I steal my husband and oldest sons shoes all the time! 🤣🤣🤣 "Where are my shoes!?" is a common question I hear in my home. 😁😅

  26. Please also plant native species – perennials, shrubs, trees – they are so beneficial for pollinators and birds. I could totally use those tree roots for a bird perch by my bird baths. 😂

  27. I'm loving the progress so much! I love being able to see this from beginning to end. Thank you for bringing us along on this journey ❤️Those landscapers are so blessed to be able to taste your treats ☺️Also, Idk if you've mentioned before but will you guys be extending coverage for that outside deck?
