  1. Jacob's cattle have the best flavor of any bean I've eaten. Our favorite!
The Christmas limas are pole beans and blue lake is my favorite green bean, we're on the same page.

  2. I agree, God created so many beautiful foods for us to grow. The sweet meat squash is amazing in soup, makes it a thick creamy soup.

  3. We're trying to grow eggplant this year, never grown them before. We will also be moving our raised beds from the back to the front. I'm desperate for willow bushes this year

  4. lol sorry for the gift card loll… Not helping your addiction… I feel like I sent a box of crown royal to a recovering alcoholic lol

  5. Hey Lynn, about potatoes… I’ve decided to not grow any either because our neighbours sell 50lbs bags for 25$ every year. Have you tried them? They are J grimson farms just down the road from us. They are our local potatoe provider.

  6. I learned the winter sowing method about 3 yrs ago and your growing zone which I believe is the same zone 5 as mine🤔 is perfect for growing all perennials, herbs, flowers and vegetables if you want to give it a try..I WS strawberry and asparagus seeds and had excellent results..there is so many benefits to using this method such as you use a recycled container, soil, tape, a marker and something to poke holes in the bottom of the container..and of course the seeds..the seeds know exactly when to germinate, and no hardening off..for me the only thing that didn’t work out was the tomatoes and peppers only because they didn’t have enough time to ripping the fruit due to their size being only a inch or two tall at planting time or at least this is what my experience was..no worrying about anything is why I love this meditation so much..no insects hatching out in my house, no algae, no mold, no worrying if there I watered them to much or not enough, no worrying about dampening off, no changing into bigger pots… you do have to make sure the containers don’t dry out if you don’t get enough snow or rain but that’s it..hth..

  7. Hi there. I'm glad to see another Canadian doing videos. I'm in Ontario too so what you learn and show will be applicable for me. Awesome!

  8. Our seed haul is coming soon as well! I have a couple seed orders I’m still waiting on but may have to just tell people what I got if they don’t get here soon! I can’t wait to see how our gardens do this year!

  9. I seen Sarah's video it was great got that list on my list LOL and MiGardener is the best only problem is it is so hard on my budget LOL. Congrats Lynn can't wait to see the garden LOL Blessings and Prayers

  10. Depending on the type of potato you grow, yields vary. if they grow decently, one could expect AT LEAST one pound per square foot. Currently, that means $0.80 / sq ft for me.
growing them in raise/permanent beds and mulching with grass clippings meant they were very little work.
