  1. My Daffodils look so beautiful. Dig up your Daffodils and move them around to suit your fancy! When they get overcrowded, they don't flower as well. I know that a lot of people don't like the foliage turning brown, but that's what feeds the bulbs. If the leaves are removed to early, the bulbs suffer. They will only last 2 to 3 years, if that. They are a beautiful reminder that Spring is just months away.
I don't like snakes. Cats are supposed to be one of the best defenses against them. Pigs and chickens too. GOD bless

  2. Oh no not the snakes again.. had two young timber rattlers on my carport last summer… we noticed the knats and mosquitoes out last night… any recommendations for homemade repellent

  3. What a valentine present ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ˜ฒ The daffodils are beautiful ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒผ๐Ÿ‘ I saw the first snowdrops in the garden ๐Ÿค— and the crocuses are peeping out already. It almost feel like spring but I think we're going to have some snow again next week. Your cats are so cuddly ๐Ÿ’• It's a joy to watch them. Is patch now allowed to get into the house?

  4. So beautiful Kaye – not so much with the snakes and gnats out already. Be safe from the coming rain storm as I am sure you are well prepared.

  5. 7. Kaye if you have more due to bud up later, you could try some short wire netting round each clump in a circle, I do the with mine in the top of my plant pots,,maybe, xxxxhugs, night ๐ŸŒ™ night xx

  8. Yeah … I haven't gotten any repairs done or organizing .. been busy keeping up with weeding the veggie and flower gardens. Weeds are prolific.

  9. I so love kitties but I'm allergic to them. I'd have a house full if I could. Fortunately I'm not allergic to poison oak/ivy. Buttercups as we've always called them are my favorite spring flower too. My first child was born in February and hubby brought me a big bouquet that he gathered on his way to the hospital. That was nearly 50 years ago. ..I'm looking forward to seeing how your water diversion works after these storms. Stay safe…they passed through here just a bit ago. I'll be praying for you as always! ๐Ÿฅฐ

  10. Were down to 28 the next 2 nights!! They need to quit messing with mother nature.. she knows what she's doing, others don't, they're going too far and will cause terrible damage eventually. Not nice to mess with mother nature!! My great Aunt Martha had 15 varieties if Daffodils. I spent the spring my son was born with visits to her everyday. She taught me so much. Everyone should have the opportunity to get to know a great aunt or uncle as I did. She was so much fun. Much love.

  11. Dafs n Kitties,,,, what a truly divine combination,,,,,
kitties are always on the hunt for small critters and reptiles
,,, dogs are a man's best friend but a cat is a comfort
i found my old Pudwood kept me safe from rattlesnakes true
he would fight a rattler and win,,,,,,
thanks for this charming video Kaye,,,,,,
keep safe and god bless you my dear,,,,, Edwin

  12. Kaye, the flowers are beautiful! The kitties are out shopping for more GIFTS for you! ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ€!!

  13. That's so funny..when I lived in forest hill California..my cats brought in baby snacks all the time..even a big one once..I had to pay neighbor boy to get him out for 20 bucks….lu from idaho

  14. Love the โ€˜early bloomersโ€™ on your property!๐Ÿ’โ€ฆโ€ฆIโ€™m terrified of snakes!!!!๐Ÿ˜ณ

  15. So beautiful where you are! It reminds me so much of growing up in Virginia! I miss irises and lily of the valley the most, I think. It's just too hot here for them. LOL, your kitties are bringing you presents! Mine do, too, and they are so proud to share them. Those daffodils will bring so much cheer inside! Enjoy!

  16. Yikes! I hate snakes๐Ÿ˜ฎ One thing for sure Kaye You are a trooper praying for protection and healing

  17. Love daffies. When I moved here (Central AZ mtns), I planted 500 bulbs. Rarely see a bloom as it is too dry. It was 7ยฐ here last night. I woke up to a non-functioning HVAC. BRRR. Pressed electric space heaters into duty. I'm ready for spring here.

  18. I picked all my daffodils that had bloomed before the rain came in last nights. This way I can enjoy them for a few more days.

  19. lol I really enjoy your channel – snakes, flies, cats, tow trucks, roofs, gardens, canning- it's always busy on your homestead. I'm still stuck in a winter wonderland in north eastern ontario canada and will not see the ground without snow till probably late march april sometime

  20. I just noticed some dandelions as well in my neighbor's yard. I'm about to go out and dig them up root and All….I have the book ""THE LIST BOOK OF HERBAL REMEDIES"" By Nicole Apelian PHD…Nice herbal book. But I do know the dandelions are an excellent medicine. I just gotta go read up and see what…Such a. Relaxing Video….I've had some kind of tiny flies in my kitchen and living room. Can't find the source of what they may of come in on. Fruits, potatoes etc. Crazy times

  21. Well good night smart and beautiful, I love those cats, they are a perfect fit for your lifestyle, GOD BLESS and keep smiling that beautiful smile, ๐Ÿ˜‡๐ŸŒน๐Ÿฆ‹โœ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿž
