No Dig Garden Beds with Mushroom Compost!
Work that’s WORTH IT!
We enjoy our no dig gardens! It’s a raised bed without building a raised bed.
Over time, it pays you back! Top your beds and you’re ready for the next year. There is no tilling involved, allowing all the microbial goodness to stay in the soil, unexposed to light.
Follow These Steps:
1) Map out your desired bed locations and dimensions.
2) Layout cardboard over the garden plot:
—-We got our cardboard from our local recycle center.
—-Remove tape and other items that won’t disintegrate.
3)Apply a generous amount of compost to the beds:
—-I recommend, at least 6 inches thick.
4)Form out or smooth out your beds:
—-Ours were roughly 18 feet long by 2 foot wide
5)Use wood chips for the walking paths:
—-Our local recycle center has free wood chips available.

Okay guys I see the kind of residential area at. couple things I suggest, one get you some good sensorsthat will tell you inside the house somebody just broke line check out why. Two if you can border it out as much as you can with stuff but they don't see your food your.up to an empty garden it will be that bad. Someone I trust, and telling me things told me this and will anybody elseI was an eighty-year-old woman she had a garden she got up I didn't say this is morning noon or night. weeks they'll be more for him to steal. I witness thisme and a couple other people were given permission to go pick green beans off of one of our church members rented fields, all right off the bat you it looked different somewhat the ground was somewhat roughed up. What had happenedgotten into the field now mind you there's no houses around this is out in a field just off the road. Somebody picked the greens clean. the lady told Jerry the guy who rented the land so he can grow green beans on. Went down to check it out a few days later and sure enough there was people out picking his field. I told him if I come back he'd call the police but basically that was it forfor him because you know he's getting older and he can't go and sit these different fields that he's got set out these different places and nobody to. going to have fresh food or food to can.
