  1. I'm sure the most difficult part of filming this was narrowing down your selections. So many beauties. Great vid.

  2. Thank you for clarifying the Abelia pruning technique! I’m going to need a LOT more pruning videos in February- Zone 8 eastern NC.

  3. Oh my goodness that Night Light is amazing!! Sadly I think the deer here in Moore County will feast on it!

  4. No one can get the latest disease resistant cultivar Clean Sweep. They are out online. Also you might mention that the Golden Oak Holly grows so very slowly it was deemed almost unmarketable in garden centers.

  5. 185,000 subscribers and growing! Congrats to you both! 🎉 Your great content is appreciated very much.

  6. Hi Jim. Great content as usual. I’m surprised you don’t have any evergreen Nandina’s. They are also very showy this time of year.

  7. Great list – and thanks for reminding us about tactile plants. Having one near entrances and seating areas is a must for me.

  8. Morning, love you videos. Question, did you cut back your tractor plant for the winter or will you cut it back in spring?

  9. Did you get hit with the Polar Vortex in December? My plants look terrible and we are the same zone. I live in Arkansas.
When does the zone map change. I think our zone should be 6. My plants that are zone 7 are fried. Not sure if they survived.

  10. This video helped me think selectively about plants for my new garden in South Carolina. It’s hard to pick just a few when I want almost all of them.

  11. We had a lot more winter damage in Little Rock (8a). I must get that chamaecyperis!

  12. The night light has been my favorite plant we're using for our landscape designs I'm trying to find more right now Lathams is sold out! ☹️

  13. Hey Jim, My Golden Oakland Hollys lost their leaves after our crazy cold snap. Are they dead or did they just have a hissy fit and drop their leaves?

  14. how big has your big foot cleyera gotten? has it given you the privacy you were trying to get from it?
